Canadian chefs night off.

Good Morning,Well I hope you have three great foodie experiences compared to my one,eh,average experience.I swear the number one man in the kitchen the night we ate there was either out celebrating Toronto baseball victory or had been, and was still p..... from the night before. Our signature soup was to die for. Then the night went down quicker than the Titanic. Our signature fillets were pretty average and our sons children fillet was so overcooked we sent it back but were told by our server, " that was the last children fillet " Sorry! Did I miss something here?.Anyway we all have bad days at the office and that's what I put it down to,so enjoy.

Whit!

OK - you went to a SIGNATURE, and they ran out of food? Yes, I think you DID miss something here - a real Signature.

Sorry,I've read your response over and over.Don't get it?We didn't go to a SIGNATURE,we had their signature cheddar soup and fillets. No they didnt run out of food, they couldn't come up with a small fillet steak for the children's portion.?Therefore it's not me that's missing something,it's you.And the chef at Le Cellier, unless you are him?

I think he was agreeing with you. Le Cellier is a signature restaurant in the evenings and for a signature to run out of food (even children's food) is not appropriate. Which by his definition doesn't make it a signature restuarant (and I have to agree).

10000 Apollo gies,Gonna have to learn American lingo,I thought your thread was stating it was ok for a restaurant of this standard giving out that statement. So I beg your pardon.Sorry.:hammer:

Just came back last night from WDW. (VERY TIRED)
We ate lunch on Sunday. It was average. The soup was good, but the steak was not up to par. It was the actual taste of the steak, which I thought was not premium. You can tell. Even the NY strip steak was chewy. But I think it might be the cut the restaurants are buying from their meat supplier.
We ate in france. IT WAS AMAZING.........
