Less Epcot Christmas youtubes from 2009

I did some searching on youtube to see if Epcot was still doing the same tree lighting show with out the Lights of Winter. I still haven't found as many videos this year. I noticed most of the Epcot christmas videos are the ligts of winter or the tree lighting which leads into the lights of winter. Is it safe to say people have lost intrest in the show do to the loss of the lights of winter. Does anyone think that this lacking of the Lights of Winter will lighten the attendance for next years guests who came attended for the first time this year. I think they really got their selves in trouble but I can't say that for sure.

The last year they did the tree lighting show at Epcot was 2007.

Also, Holidays Around the World just started yesterday... Wouldn't expect many videos to have been up yet.

Was that the version in which they had two hosts & the Fab Five on stage?

I remember one year in which it was without any performers at all. I think that was 2008, right?

Yeah that was the show with the two singers and Mickey, Minnie and Goofy I think. Hmmm maybe 2006 was the last year for the full blown show then, we tried to see it in 2007 but it was rained out. In 2008 there was no stage, I didn't think they did any show at all then.

The Fab 5 was in 2006, I know that, seeing that I saw it.

The one that I saw had pyro and had very cool effects on the tree. Is that the one?

No pyro in the show I saw, I think it was called Mickey's Tree Lighting Treat.

Hmm. Don't know the name (When I get home, I'll check) but I do know it had pyro...Just some basic spark fountains.

Well, it sounds like they made gradual cuts to the show every year until they just got rid of it altogether.
