Off site November 25 to 30...

I have a friend who is covering an event at WWoS Nov 25 to 30, and wanted to stay offsite, any ideas as to the best location for her to get there and back? Reasonably priced of course, she won't have time to hit any parks so that isn't really a consideration.

Thanks!

The best location are the resorts off of 192 or in the area on that side of Disney. I've never really stayed in any off property so I can't recommend one specificaly but there's alot there. I'd also make sure she really reads the reviews off of other sites b/c there are some dumpy places mixed in.

If you are considering the 192 stretch, you may want to focus on the western side because most of the newer or recently renovated places are found there. Many of the newer condo-for-rent developments are very nice. We've had good luck staying at 3 different places on that end of the road. I'll check to see the names of the places and get back to you ASAP.

We stayed at Gaylord Palms at Thanksgiving last year and got a pretty good rate. It's about the closest off-site hotel to WWoS. It's a unique property with an absurdly huge atrium that's worth seeing. Plus they have the "Ice" exhibit open for the holidays.
