I have teenage boys and I won't even let them wear tank tops. No shirts or tank tops are for the gym or sports practice. I DO NOT want to see hairy pits while I'm waiting in line!

ps - I have no problem with little boys in tank tops

What about shaved and waxed adult men with no body hair?

this thread cracks me up!:ROFLOL::ROFLOL:, its all so true!
i dont think any one is criticising(sp)
just very good observations of people, we are however amused and bewildered, about peoples appropriate dress sense, ie bikini tops around mk,thongs hanging out wearing stilletoes.
perhaps the cms need to crack down on this, as it does seem to offend people.

And people give me weird looks when I've entered the park just after a meal at California Grill, Hollywood Brown Derby, Jiko or some other fancy resturant with nicer clothes on. I just want to give them a mirror at that point.

I know it's a bit off topic, but what I can't stand are when girls wear shorts with words on the butt.>>>>>>

Being a Florida resident, I get to see a lot of strange dressing going on, but the one that tops the cake........

My husband and I were shopping in an antigue shop and I noticed a white haired lady with her hair sort of up in a beehive from the 60s weating a pair of low waisted short shorts with the word "juicy " on her bottom. Underneath with the straps showing above the shorts was a red thong. She had to be 75-80 years old and was carrying her poodle that also had on shorts with a word across the bottm. LOL I had to leave the store quickly so I wouldn't laugh in front of her.

That's when you wish you had a camera for future laugh moments! :ROFLOL:

Oh well, looks like I need a new wardrobe!

Does anyone have a preference on single or double breasted jacket with the tux I'll be needing?
Would a cravat be pushing it for splash mountain?

As for the "speedo's", I think I'd be asked to leave the country not just the Parks! :ROFLOL:

We saw this guy at one of the water parks who was wearing a speedo. At first I thought it was the yeti having escaped from EE, he was so hairy. Turns out he was just a man.

But everyone is hairy compared to my hubby. His chest hair grows in the shape of the batman logo. :lookaroun Geez I hope he doesn't read this.

I'll go ahead and let out my inner geek, but I believe the "her" is Cordelia from Buffy the Vampire Slayer :lookaroun

I must have an inner geek as well because I was going to say the same thing. Don't forget she was on Angel too. I think I just may need a hobby.

Another thing I find very very strange (I see it more here in Britain at places like Alton Towers - have seen it LOADS of times at Alton Towers!) are the girls who wear those teeny tiny shorts, little tiny vest tops and killer heels!

It's a theme park and you are going to be on your feet all day! Wear something comfy! 6" wedge heels are just not suitable theme park footwear!

And has anyone ever noticed that in the UK, at the first hint of sunshine, everyone strips off??? It could be freezing outside but because the sun's out, out come the sunnies and the shorts and vest tops!

Are these people mad???

tell me about it, i live in the beautiful north devon area about a mile from the beach, the first hint of sun, and the 'townies' are here in the shorts and flip flops, and its only april! but i think thats british! we dont get to see the sun much and when we do, we want to get as much as we can! as quick as we can thats why within two days of landing in florida we are all toasted pink!

VEST TOPS? SERIOUSLY???? Lol...I think Stacy and Clinton would be HORRIFIED at this conversation - I've always thought if they didn't even want to bother with people sending in applications for "What Not to Wear", they could just go to any theme park and pick out half the individuals there to "makeover."

Seriously, with the nasty sun-burned cleavage, butt cracks, butt cheeks, camel toes, mullets, packs, hairy men in tanks, white pants with a colored thong or no underwear (hello!!!??? it's called cellulite, and EVERYONE can see it through your choice of bottoms...and believe me, I got PLENTY o' cellulite ), and the lack of deodorant, I wonder sometimes how people can come home from a Disney trip and say it was boring. EVEN IF you hated the rides, the crowds, and the weather was too hot, you've ALWAYS got park clothing choices to talk about...

62 days and counting people!! :sohappy:

I'm sorry if this has been posted in this thread previously (I was too lazy to read the entire thread ), but what is up with women not wearing bras in the parks? I don't get it. I'm not talking about young 20-somethings, I mean women past child-bearing age???? Yikes. If I want to see something like that, I can look in my mirror. :ROFLOL: The rule should be if you wear a bra to your local store then you should wear one at the parks.
