Thanks! I may invest in one before my next trip. It's depressing when you have to delete every Spectromagic picture because of blurriness, or when you think you have a perfect fireworks shot set up and it's all just a colorful blob.

Nikon cool pix 4300...... it is perfect for what i like.. though ears batterys.... (want to upgrade to the newer ones... like 5 or 6 MP...)

It has a 4MP...... pretty good digital zoom.... 3 or 4x.... I carry a posket tripod which extends to 3' perfect for night shots or spectromagic.... (once i get that setting correct...)
