Well, I have to say that I am extrememly dissapointed that Michigan lost, but I will come right and and say that this was probobly one of the best college football games I have seen in a while. This may even compete with the National Championship game, depending on if it is close or not. When I saw the ball trickle between the uprights my heart sank, but when a QB get 5 touchdowns on you, you have a problem.
So I applaud their QB, (sorry, it's late and I'm drawing a blank right now, I do know his first name is Vince) on his unbeleivable performance. We did stop Cedric though..... Braylon Edwards played a phenominal game, as did Chad Henne being the first freshman to ever start in the "Grand-daddy of them all" bowl. My hat goes off to both Henne and Mike Hart, two true freshmen that came in and played their hearts out against a great Texas team, and seemed to be completely void of the freshmen jitters.
Congrats to Texas on winning a phenominal bowl game, on that I will always remember as a great one. I just wish U of M and Texas would play against each other more often, that game was fantastic. It's been 6 hours since the game ended and I'm still pumped up about it. :lol: :sohappy: :sohappy:

This is kinda a side question, but I didn't think Tennessee could go to the Rose Bowl unless it is the BCS Championship game, because the Rose bowl is the Big 10 #1 vs. the PAC 10 #1. Unless they are changing that rule because they did let Texas in this year... :wave:

Except for when the title game is at the Rose Bowl, it will be the Big 10 champ vs the PAc 10 champ, unless either team is #1 or #2, in which case they go to the title game.
Also, the bowl that pays out the most money on average over the previous 5 years gets to pick its teams first (after the title game is picked). This is historically the Orange Bowl, which is why they were able to pick Iowa/USC a few years back.
