Monorail to be wrapped once again

It appears as if they are going to turn monorail red into another Disney billboard. Rumor has it that soon monorail red will be supporting another Disney promotional wrap. I only hope it's not as bad as what they did during the year of a million dreams.

Wonder if they will be doing a mini promotion for the opening of the new fantasy land.....

UPDATE i'm hearing that the train will be fully wrapped like tron was and could be themed to the avengers.

I think the the white with a color stripe is quite boring and wish they would wrap all of them.

Because the Tron-orail did such an effective job of selling movie tickets and turning that film into the year's biggest blockbuster????

Perhaps box office results were not as abysmal as they could have been because of tron o rail promotion? Not defending the or promoting anything....

No....because every time I saw it, I thought it looked freakin' cool. They don't have to wrap them for movies, just add some color like Disneyland's. WDW's are BORING!!!!

Understandable. The problem with the wraps is that they mess up the view from within the monorail, which is always part of the fun for me. But a colored monorail fleet like Disneyland's would be cool (even though I don't have much of an issue with the appearance of WDW's current ones).

Disneyland A) Does not have as many trains as WDW, and B) Used to use their trains as a ride, not transit.

The reason WDW's are so BORING as people like to put it, is because WDW is going with a more uniformed look with their trains... I mean seriously, imagine a BRIGHT RED train pulling into EPCOT... To me that would kind of be a throw off... I think with as many trains as WDW has, it's better to make the whole fleet look uniformed...

So, even though the character rights are owned by Disney, they're going to promote another companies movie (Disney doesn't have the movie distribution rights to those characters) and promote characters that are at the competitor's park.

I call 100% complete bs to this rumor.:ROFLOL:

If they were going to wrap it for a movie, it would have been done for The Muppets or John Carter.

More than likely it'll be for something to promote the parks.

Great! Nothing more Disney than marvel being wrapped around the monorails. Makes me want to puke thinking about it.
