I haven't heard of anything personally, but does anyone know if they plan on "dressing" or doing anything different to the castle for the 40th Anniversary?

Owing to the complaints from the 25th, I dare say the castle will never be `decorated` like that again.

Leave the castle alone. Any attempt at decorating the castle takes away from the forced perspective of the castle.

So far as I know that was just the test rig. The real install comes very soon. Unless the schedule got bumped.

I guess I'm one of th efew people who loved the 25th cake castle...would be great to dress it up again for the 40th.

As for the sketch, it looks amazing until the horrid "slideshow".

I loved the cake, too, and yeah, the slide show kills it. I'm not 100% on the sketch part either

Does anyone know what is going on with the castle in the near future? I was looking at the link on Disney's website about the restaurant in the castle and it says that the view of Fantasyland will be blocked off (in May) because of exterior work on the castle.

A good friend ;) tells me there will be 16 rooftop projectors - 4 on Cosmic Rays, 4 each on both northern MSUSA buildings, and 4 on the Christmas Shoppe. Each is a Christie Digital 20K DLP, playing media off Green Hippo Hippotizers with Uberpan, as used in DCA for WOC. The system is run off a grandMA2 full size.

Expect to see it in around 2 weeks.

Useful? :D

Christie's blend and stack technology is amazing. While I'm not real keen on this whole idea from the previews that I've seen on here...I am looking forward to seeing this in action.
