I have the SAME mismemory from the same park, when I was 8! How funny. Too bad that park's gone.

Yeah I worked for what remained of the Six Flags, Sea World, Cedar Fair mess of that park for 4 summer.

The seal "mountain" you mentioned is now just a waterfall...filled in for a patio. The sea lion stadium...is a wave pool. Dolphin cove...teen activity pool.

This all that remains of the park www.wildwaterfun.com

I cant believe this arguement, I mean discussion, has gotten so far. With all the knowledge of our beloved kingdom on these boards, he still wont take no for an answer. I have this question for him. If the rocks fell at the mouth of the temple tunnel, how the hell does the boat get out of the tunnel?
The boat exits just in time as the rocks fall behind you. I remember this at DL in the 70's! Yeah, it was just a CM story. Scared me when I was 12.

I have this memory of an amusement park in Nashville TN right next to the Gaylord Opryland hotel. Yet when I went back many years later I found a mall. I asked the teenager parking attendant at the hotel what happened and they just gave me a blank stare*.

* - Actually, I full well know what happened. And the real story is I took some relatives to see the hotel, and on our way out the parking attendant asked if we had a nice time, to which I responded "Yeah, it was alright. Would have been better if there was an amusement park next door to visit". She just gave a half-amused smile.

I remember that memory. :lookaroun

That's why I can't bring myself to step foot in that mall. :(

Wait wait wait. Latveria...
Did Walt and Dr. Doom go to college together...

Something doesn't quite fit right there..

Oh! So that's why Dr. Doom is part of Tower of terror! If my memory serves me correctly (and it always does) right before the big drop Dr Doom yells about ignoring all safety warnings and setting for maximum extraction. never could figure out why he was in there. Now I know!

reasons for not posting.

One, I ask that this still remain a discussion and not personal, or personal attacks.. I respect Lee and all the other posters here.

two, I have not posted because of a death in the family and I have been more then busy. I am going to the funeral in an hour or so..

three. I am anxious to hear from the email that Lee sent to California. or that he said that he was going to send.

four I am open to more discussion. and I cannot help more with memories nor have the access to photos or movies at this time. and while I stand by my convictions. maybe I am putting two rides together. But at this time, I do not believe so.

five, thanks for listening and having good discussion. I wish you all well.

Oh, wow....sorry. I forgot to post that reply, which took all of about an hour to get.
The response said (quoted verbatim):
"No.
Characters have never been a show element on Jungle Cruise in either Florida or Anaheim. One can only imagine the outcry that would result.
Also, there is no mechanism in place for any sort of falling rocks or rubble at the temple scene. Sounds nice, though."

That was it. Short and sweet.
Nothing personal, and I appreciate the respect you speak of, but I think you are blending different shows together...though I don't know which ones.

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but I just remembered about this. Let us all reminisce in the memory and wonder that is this thread.

Yes, I love this old thread!

You know, I'm thinking maybe he went on a JC trip where a costumed CM as King Louie came on board, you know how characters somtimes ride the rides with guests. As for the avalanche, its likely he's confusing it with BTMRR.

That was my thought once the guy kept swearing it was there, even after all the historical evidence.

I missed this thread the first time around!
