In case anyone is interested I found an article that was linked form I-am-bored about a guy who enjoyed dressing as Jack Sparrow as a hobby and then found a job as Jack Sparrow's friend in Disneyland. It encomposes his eventual firing and his general dislike of how things were run for CMs, character friend's specifically.

I'm pretty sure this was posted a while back.... And he was playing Jack Sparrow, not a 'friend'...

To be a "friend" of a Disney character is CM speak for playing a character. (ie "What type of work do you do with Disney?" "I am friends with Pluto.")

What do you think the ratio is of People who dont work at Disney any more and hated it: want to go back.
