Question About Star Wars Weekend

I need some help from you SWW vets regarding the Star Wars character parade. I know there is one at 11:15 AM each day (where the characters march in formation). What's the route for this parade? What's a good viewing location? And how early do you need to line up?

Also, do they have another similar parade at the end of the day? I thought I read they did somewhere, but I can't remember.

If this year follows last year, the parade rout will be the same as the regular parade route and it wall start at the front of the park and finish at Star Tours. My favorite viewing area is right at the turn in front of the hat.

I do not recall them running the Star Wars parade more than once a day.

Its more of a group walk then a parade, but it makes for good pictures despite how quick it is. It runs once at 11:15 - blink and you'll miss it - running the same way BPB runs and ends at Star Tours. Anywhere along Hollywood Blvd. should be fine. Either that or some place with some shade.

Does anyone know if they will have a "wish list" phone number to call in order to be placed on a waiting list to purchase big figs? They had this last year for anyone who wasn't able to make the event (if they were not sold out). Thanks.

If they do, and I can't think of a single reason why they would not, it will more than likely be done through Disney Gallery.
There are a couple of rumors circulating about the big figures this year. First and foremost the price will be increased yet again to $200 per figure. Second the figures will not be physically available at SWW. You will receive a voucher and they will be shipped to you at a later date.

That's interesting because we called to see if we could do something like that and we were told that you could ONLY get them at the Studios during the Weekends. I love em, but $200 is a bit much, especially for 4 figures. I f you could buy them throughout the year it would hurt less financially.

Technically that was the way it was going to go down but what they did was make a waiting list if there were any of the figures left over after 4 SWW. You had to call Disney gallery to get on this list and there were some of all 4 big figures available after a 4 SWW.

To answer the original question, the parade will follow the same route as last year. It'll start in the beginning of the park, make it's way down the street, turn left pass the hat and old ABC theater and end at the Jedi Training Academy Stage.

As for the Big Figs, I thought I saw a few people walking out with them in boxes last year. Do they always give a voucher?

By the way, what do the Big Figs look like this year? They oddly enough are not posted on the official Star Wars site this year.

By the way, what does everyon think of the new logos and merchandise this year?

No. For the past 2 years the figures were in stock. The whole voucher thing is currently a rumor but based on the rather lackluster quality of last years SWW big figs I hope they do that rather than rush production.
