Alright as my trip approaches I have decided to stay at a neighbor hotel. The Howard Johnson has really good reviews and on the website it says they are a member of some Disneyland shuttle thing where some tram picks you up and takes you to the gates. Has anyone ever stayed here? Mousesavers says it is good but I would just like to hear some real people feedback before I book. Thanks

Hojos is a great choice! theres Mimi's Cafe right across the street. Its just about a 10-15 min walk from your hotel room door to the DLR entrance and about another 5 min walk to the park gates. Theres a shuttle service I think its part of the ART(Anahem Resort Transit) system I think its like $3 an adult for all day Im not sure though since I always walk. Theres also free high speed internet incase you have Disney withdrawls after a day in the park haha :)

Its definatly a great offsite place to stay at. Very clean rooms, nice place, Very nice staff, We've been staying there since 2002 and have gone back everytime we go which is about 3 times a year.

If you do book a room you might want to request a room on the resort side since the other side is I-5 :) but from reviews Iv read people dont seem to have a problem with it once they close the doors.

The rooms-

They're currently revonating one of there pools into a mini water park-

Hope that helps.

I'm also seriously considering this HoJo for a trip in Oct. It looks like some rooms and blgs are better than others. I don't usually mind a small room (spend all my time in the theme parks), but I would like two sinks. A view of the Matterhorn or DCA would also be great. I hope the resort will be able to fulfill my request(s).

The size of the rooms I depend on the building as goes for the sinks but I think most have 2 sinks on in the main bathroom and one just outside of it. The website has room layout pics on a pdf I'd post a direct link but my computer is having some problems.
