Confliciting dining reservations

Just recently, there was big discussion on folks who purposely booked conflicting dining reservations. Well, I happened to call Disney Dining yesterday to try and grab a lunch ressie for the LTT. The CM says, 'Oops, I just got a pop up, it says you've got conflicting lunch reservations on this day." I told him I was aware of that. I wanted to make sure the LTT was available before I released my current reservation.

Just a friendly public service announcement  that Disney has done something to their reservations system that now detects conflicting ressies.

So... no more hoarding the ressies! :p

That's good to know. I always make sure I can get the meal I really want before I cancel the one I already have. Once you explanced that to him, did he let you go ahead and make the reservation for LTT?

That's great news. But people will figure out ways around it - booking under different names, different credit cards, whatever it takes.

I am sure there will be a loophole somewhere but 99% of the people out there won't find it so this is a good step in the right direction for freeing up some dinning space.

I think this is GOOD news! In a previous thread I said my peace on how unfair I felt hoarding reservations is. I am glad to see Disney is doing something about it. If it works or not, it is definately a step in a FAIR direction. :D
