Disney Texas??

Corrus, is that going to be the centerpiece attraction for the park, because if that is the best attraction in the park, I can't wait to see their dark rides.

I can just see it now: The Texas Chainsaw Massecre... featuring you! And of course the logo for the attraction would feature Leatherface holding his chainsaw up to a mirror that when you look at it, shows your face being cut in half!

Well since the park announcement will be one more day I have gotten myself ready for the new park.

I have quit my Exec job at Target.I have sold my new 5 bedroom house in Indy. I have pulled my kids out of the schools here in Indy.I have all my belongings in a moving truck ready to go so I can apply to be the first VP of Merchandise Disneyland Texas.

Im sure glad before I did all this I had such a reliable "insider" source on this new Disney park.:lol: :hammer: :lol:

Oh, you didn't hear....the announcement has been postponed for 6 months.

Evidently they had a delay at the Super Bowl, so they have decided to postpone the announcement, not 1 day, but 6 months later. :hammer:

Jedi- Why is everyone joining in the discussion some variant of Fisher? I'm quite offended you believe me to be him. Read my post. I do nothing to add to the rumor. In fact I do the opposite. I only shared my experience and how I came to this forum. If you doubt me, look me up in reefcentral.com or dfwmas.com under the handle "cbeitel" or PM me. Don't alienate new posters!

On another note- DFW area people joining these threads in mass because when you google "Disney Texas" you get to this forum. Try it. Fisher or one of his believers was on the radio here. Listeners are only doing as I did and googling to find out more. In reading these threads however, I have come to the conclusion....

THERE IS NOTHING TO THIS RUMOR

I believe someone is attempting to raise land values or some such thing here in Texas. It would be easy for me to join in, as I am a property owner, but, my ethics won't allow me to do so.

The Mayor says the rumor is false, the second link when you google it comes right back here, and the first link is some caller to a radio show.

Unless something appears from a LEGITIMATE news source (The Onion doesn't count) the subject of a WDW in Texas will be closed.
