I was wondering if anybody knew of a good book about the behind the scenes stuff at Disney World, like what they do if a ride breaks down, or the imaginearing that went into the rides.

Basicly just behind the scenes stuff.

Thanks!

Well, the best book out there about Imagineering is Walt Disney Imagineering: A Behind the Dreams Look at Making the Magic Real (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786883723/ref=ed_oe_p/104-6645878-8023152?_encoding=UTF8). It's a fantastic book that looks at the whole process of making a Disney attraction, from concept to installation. I don't know of any books that deal with the backstage goings-on of WDW specifically, but you might check out Mouse Tales (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/09...=pd_bbs_1/104-6645878-8023152?_encoding=UTF8), which covers Disneyland backstage stories.

disneydaft - DLP From Sketch... is so worth the money. It is just FULL of concept art & models, and some early versions of attractions. Not to mention tonns of beautiful photos. Absolutley gorgeous.

I just got Coasters, Flumes.. this week finally. Great little stories and really rare pics. I wouldn`t say it was totally worth what I paid, but it makes my collection so much more complete. A good book.

I had a look at the DLP FSTR book while at DLP in January, they had an English sealed copy and a battered French display copy in the big Disney store at Disney Village.
It really is a stunning book.
