I actually think this is one of the reasons that Galaxy's Edge works. It was a collaboration between WDI and filmmakers at Lucasfilm. It feels very real and natural.

If you read the novel about Black Spire the land feels a lot more real and everything is recognizable...including the walk-around character Vi Moradi. I have never read or seen anything related to Harry Potter so that entire part of Universal has no appeal to me.

I want it to remain the way it is, the recent update is very good. I only mentioned it because it was listed by someone as an attraction that was potentially going to be updated.

Yes, I really loved the Muppet presentations. I just don't want that in the HOP. And to get this conversation back on the original topic...spending any money to change the HOP right now seems misguided.

For the record there ARE droids...they're just corralled by the Droid Depot, but they do move and make sounds if you don't just run by to the "rides." And there are alien creatures (both living and dead) in the cantina and Dok-Ondars. And if you read the novel about Black Spire before visiting...

This is not true. Summer hours used to be much later than they are currently showing on the WDW website. 10pm closings even on the weekends when it doesn't even get dark til almost 9pm is ridiculous. They used to have parades at 11pm.

Many people don't spend a whole day there, but like to spend the evening there and they evening hours keep getting shortened or eliminated in the case of all the added party dates. Passholders are paying more for fewer available hours to use their passes.

Shortening the operating hours doesn't help.

I rode this three times during my preview and was fine after the first two. They were separated by more than an hour and that hour included the river ride and a meal. However, ride 3 was immediately after 2 with only a very quick walk through the queue separating the two rides and I did feel...

Just an FYI, that guy has also been reported as being in a gay relationship. And it was also reported that he did not state that he intended to cause harm at the parade. He was on probation in Indiana for threatening his former partner with a gun and threatening to commit harm to the former...

I use it every time I go...and it is always full, but I am usually there on weekend days that are HOT. haha It was nice because it was off the beaten path and more peaceful/relaxing.
