    Time Delay etc

Normally he's the same as usually we have an 03:30 get up for a 6am flight but this year flying from Manchester at 10:55 and only live in liverpool so won't have to leave until 7am. Hoping the excitement will take it's toll and he will snooze on the plane and that'll see him through!!!

    Time Delay etc

Yeah I was looking at around 7pm US time as an acceptable bedtime! I'll probably be ready for bed by then too!!! Fingers crossed as a 4/5pm sleep would be awful!!!

    Time Delay etc

We arrive at WDW in 29 days (not that I'm counting). We are flying in from the UK which means it'll be around 9pm uk time when we get to WDW and only 4pm florida time. My 4 year old would normally be in bed at 9pm but the last thing I want is him to sleep at 4/5pm!!! Anyone experienced this and...

    Delivery Of Magic Bands

Mine are going straight to the hotel as live in the uk. I customised mine a while ago when I rang Disney over linking my reservation to my Disney account and I don't arrive until June?! o_O

To nap or not to nap...

Really grateful for all the replies. Good to hear what everyone else's experiences have been with little ones. He doesn't nap now and doesn't do much in the stroller so I'm hoping he'll be good to go from morning until night and then crash out!!!

Avoiding Everything That Is The 7D Mine Train!

I love this thread. I've been like a Disney sponge of late absorbing everything I can (sheer excitement) but now after reading this - esp about the parade and the music I'm not so eager!!!!! :)

To nap or not to nap...

Yeah, he doesn't nap at home unless he falls asleep in the car!!! Last year in Spain he would nap in the afternoon but there obviously wasn't as much going on and if was a lot easier as it was just a matter of moving from pool to hotel room!!!

To nap or not to nap...

That's great. I'm hoping my little one will do the same!!!!

To nap or not to nap...

That's what I'm hoping. He'll be 4.5 when we go in June and I'm taking his stroller. I'd rather be out for the day rather than go back! If we are at the waterparks I know he'll lie down an nap on a sun lounger. He'll probably out last me to be honest!!

To nap or not to nap...

What time does your 5 year old last until (on a good day lol). I know every child is different, just trying to gauge things from the experiences of others!! Gem x

    DVD

Yeah. In the UK ours are Region 2. Think USA is Region 1.

To nap or not to nap...

That is the question!? Those who have been with small children - in your experience is it best to go back to your resort to nap (and does this mean missing out) or does the adrenaline of Disney see them through?!?

    DVD

I do have a MR player but I'll probably get one of the uk ones via eBay or just YouTube it through Apple TV!! Just would have liked the official one!! Xx

    Attraction height and age restrictions

Still 39.5". He'll certainly be 40" in his shoes. I'll just have to regularly stretch him between now and June

    Attraction height and age restrictions

I'm laughing to myself reading this! I didn't even think of the differing heights!! We go in June and I've just raced to the doorframe in my son's bedroom (where I record and date his measurements!!!). He was 39.5" in his socks in Feb. As soon as he gets back in from Asda with his nan I'm...

    DVD

Morning!! Was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get the WDW planning DVD here in the UK?? The only thing I can find is book planner. I ideally wanted the DVD to play to my 4 year old on the morning we go as I'm only telling him on the day!! Thanks xxxx
