What confuses me about this is the seasonal performers who were laid off. I get full and part time. Those cast members receive benefits. Seasonal cast receive no benefits from the company (other than park admission) so cutting them literally saves no money.

I visited Animal Kingdom yesterday and noticed new signage and announcements stating that guests who do not follow the mask rules will be asked to leave. I did notice more cast members firmly asking guests to stop while eating, make sure their masks were covering their noses, or put their masks...

Nemo wasn’t originally slated to come back even before the squabble with Equity. Given the financial woes the company is facing, I doubt Lion King will be back anytime soon.

Not likely with the financial state of the company.

FoF does not have Equity performers, so it not being offered is not a result of the issues with Equity.

Hopefully this means all of those Equity shows will be coming back soon!!!

Not in the time they had to scramble to put something together. These aren’t normal times. They could have left the theater empty. Is the show ideal? No. But until we get back to normalcy, I think it best to applaud them for coming up with something as quickly as they could.

Furs are covered under Teamsters. Just like puppeteers at VOTLM and FOTLK, Stiltwalkers, dancers in parades, the animal dancers (minus the two birds) at FOTLK, and all lookalike and animated characters. Most of them are not only trained in this particular stage show, and perform in other shows...

Unfortunately, this replacement show (and others that are sure to follow in shuttered venues across WDW) was certainly put together in a very short amount of time. The parks have been open now for a month with the Equity battle going on for the same amount of time. I'm sure the company...

The performers covered under Equity DO want to work. They are being held captive by the demands of their union. Sadly, I feel that this stalemate will lead to the company to part ways with Equity. Then they could potentially invite a different union, one that doesn't have to follow the rules...

This is starting to feel like a smear campaign.

I believe the Borne show is Universal team members. At least the several that I know are team members.
