    Retroland As A Fifth Gate...Potential?

I think having a VR/Motion Simulator opportunity could work. Disney could re-create old rides in Virtual Reality and guests can essentially "upload" the ride they want to experience again. And you can still attach the retro gift shop. This could be a land somewhere, or separate experience in the...

Would Disney ever put a ride at a resort?

Watching a video about Moana and its Polynesian theme, it got me thinking if there would ever be a ride put at a resort. I havent put much thought into the logistics but lets use Moana as an example: -Build a dark ride/rollercoaster at the Polynesian resort. -Charge a fee for off site guests...

    Ideas for my upcoming trip

What if each of you creates a scavenger hunt for another family member? You make a list of things in the parks/resorts that you have to find. It could be a photo scavenger hunt, meaning you have to photograph them all. You secretly make the hunt, and don't reveal it until you have arrived at...

    EPCOT World Showcase Rotational Pavilion

What if EPCOT added a new pavilion that rotated every year? They could showcase a different country every year. Maybe countries that are celebrating anniversaries of events, independence, etc. The reason I say yearly is because they could spend the money and make it look nice and have enough...

    National Treasure in the Parks

I noticed National Treasure is on Netflix and it got me thinking about it being in the parks. I understand that the movies are pretty unrealistic, but I feel like its something that could work really well in DHS, or Magic Kingdom. Would people enjoy it? Where would it go? Now, before we answer...

    Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon?

My family and I visited WDW last summer and only had time for one water park. We chose Typhoon Lagoon for the wave pool. We also did the lazy river and some of the water slides, but the giant waves is what brought us there. Lots of room and different locations to experience the wave from.

    Driving to Disney advice

We just drove from Kansas City to Disney this past summer. split it into two days. Hopefully you have an aux cord and you can turn on Pandora Disney station and start singing. I unfortunately didn't have an aux cord but I brought my Bluetooth speaker and was able to have movies and music playing...

    Disney Disappointments

After visiting in July I agree with the merchandise disappointment. I remember walking into different shops anticipating new merchandise specific to that shop, only to see the same stuff from other stores.

    Maelstrom vs. Backlot Tour

I have noticed a lot more attention devoted to the closing of Maelstrom more than the closing of the Studio Backlot Tour. My question is: Why was the attention to the farewell so different? Is it because the Backlot had run its course? Is it the surprise that Maelstrom is closing? (although it...

Is it better to wait for Disney?

Greetings all, I have been reading this board for a few months now, both before and after my trip to Disney in July. One thing I have noticed is that there are a lot of people who go to WDW ALOT. Which is awesome. I absolutely love Disney. I am 24 years old, and I have gone 4 times. Each time is...

Other game shows/TV shows MGM could have.

How bout Family Feud? They could have 20 minute shows where a family goes up against characters on Disney based questions. The audience could be the ones being surveyed. For example: The Smith's a family of four from Missouri going up against Jasmine, Aladdin, Jafar, and Genie. Top five answers...

    **Hypothetical** New Theme Park Idea

**Disclaimer** This thread is just to open up our imaginations and dream up a new theme park. I understand a 5th park is not in the works, nor should it be, but I thought it would be fun to just imagine a park, and get various input. I recently went on a 6 day trip to Disney (July 7-12) and the...

Trip Report My "It's still raining in EPCOT?" July 2014 family vacation

Post Trip Tips and Comments: - Our FP experience was flawless.
