    GAC to Become DAS

I am n I am not saying that some types of autism are not real or severe but most types are nothing more than a behavioral issue which is compounded by Disney's approach. Most of these kids could be trained to behave by a Catholic Nun with a ruler.

In Defense of the Stroller Pushers

I would much rather have a stroller hit me than some faker renting an EVC for the first time. Those people are dangerous.

    GAC to Become DAS

Why are you trying to get me banned? Because I am right about how this type of pass was originally intended for those with physical disabilities and it has been hijacked by those with a mental disability that was unheard of 10 years ago? The nuns at my Catholic elementary school would roll...

    GAC to Become DAS

Are all of the rides wheelchair accessible? NO. Do people who are wheelchair bound have to wait longer on some rides? YES. Disney is discriminating against those with physically disabilities because of this and then they rub our noses in it by giving the cry baby autistic people a pass.

    GAC to Become DAS

We all know that Disney is a physically demanding destination and as a parent of a disabled child (Cerebral Palsy) who is wheelchair bound and heat intolerant, I think it is unconscionable that Disney would not give a physically disabled child like mine a DAS in order to wait out of the sun...

Large, Disruptive Groups in Disney World

How old are you? Disney is meant for the young whether in age or in heart. Perhaps you no longer meet the criteria?

    Gathering autographs....

That is very considerate of you and I wish more grownups felt this way. Since your little ones want Princess autographs, why not book at character meal at Akershus and have the books available to each Princess and take a picture while each is signing the set?

    GAC to Become DAS

That would have no effect because the only reason Disney even has DAS is to keep those with autism and sensory disorders from repulsing the average guest with their strange behavior like banging their head against the rails, having a meltdown or exhibiting violent actions. Your best bet is to...

    GAC to Become DAS

I hate to break it to you but if your son's disability is only physical, then he will not be entitled to the DAS and will have to wait in the lines (and then some because he will have to wait for a wheelchair accessible ride vehicle). Given the fact that the origin of these type passes go back...

    GAC to Become DAS

Had "Taylor from IL" tried to embarrass my disabled child, Disney would have had to change her name tag to "Toothless Taylor from IL".

When did WDW start making meeting characters so organised?

Probably when Disney realized that adults were actually waiting with little kids to get a character's signature. Little kids wouldn't stand a chance against a pushy adult. Does anyone here not think this was one of the reasons for an organized line?

    GAC to Become DAS

As a parent of a disabled child, I saw first-hand the abuse that took place with GAC and most of it was by those with ECVs and wheelchairs (who did receive FOTL access). A vast majority of these people were totally healthy and not once did I witness one of these low-lifes actually use the...

Food & Wine Festival - Drunkytown?

Are you saying that nothing needs to be done about the drunks and their abhorrent behavior at F&W? Disney's goal should be to keep F&W from becoming the locals' Oktoberfest and you do this by pricing the locals out of the market by requiring either an AP or a minimum 3-day pass.

Food & Wine Festival - Drunkytown?

Oh sure, defending Walt's visions and ideals is annoying but the obnoxious drunks who topple over your child, display inappropriate amorous affection and urinate and vomit in public is just peachy. Disney needs to keep the trash out of F&W.

Food & Wine Festival - Drunkytown?

So, I am the bad guy by trying to point out how F&W has descended to the gutter due to the locals changing it from a civilized event to their little own drunk fest of mindless debauchery? Whose side do you think Walt would be on?

Food & Wine Festival - Drunkytown?

And, I thought I was the only one who used "debauchery" to describe the antics at F&W. This is a great mini-trip report and I just can't believe the locals are not able to find somewhere else to get smashed. They need to show more respect towards us vacationers who make up about 3/4 of their...

    Guilty Pleasures at WDW

Using a questionably acquired GAC to skip the 60 minute queue at Soarin; using a refillable mug for 3 years straight; reserving 4 Epcot TS meals at the same time because you don't know what you might be in the mood for; double-dipping the FP system; cramming 6 people in a Poly room. Is anyone...

Disney to expand cancellation fees to all table service restaurants at Walt Disney World

I love how Disney has cracked down on the cockroaches who have milked the system over the years. This is just another example and now onto FP+.
