Suggestions for what to do when flash-blinded on dark rides

I think we've all been there at one point - you're on Pirates of the Caribbean (or another dark ride, but PoTC seems to be the most common for this issue) when out of nowhere... a blinding flash from a camera lights up everything around you. You're temporarily blinded, and it also ruins the...

    Your Top 3

EDIT: Well, by golly, I like y'alls formatting better, so here goes. Rides 1. Haunted Mansion - For some odd reason, I didn't really care for this on my first trip, but I fell in love on my second and now it's my all-time favorite! The theming, the music, the story... all incredible. 2. Tower...

    Your Top 3

After being spoiled the last few years by trips to my beloved Walt Disney World every 18 months or so, thanks to a couple of unfortunate & enormous life changes, it'll be a *long* while until I can return. Therefore, I thought I'd have fun vicariously with a survey. Through this, I'm sure I'll...

    All Star Movies or Pop?

Having stayed at both, I can give you an informed opinion. POP is great for many reasons that have already been listed. 1. Dedicated bus service - I can't stress the value of this enough. Plus, if there's a long wait for a POP bus, you can always jump on a AoA bus and take a short walk over to...

Great question. Yes! As long as it is a great steak.

    Why is Stitch still there?

It makes me very sad I was never able to ride this ride.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, WDW neighbors! My lovely wife and I are returning to Walt Disney World in September of this year after almost a 2 year hiatus; I'm so excited, I might asplode. On each trip, while we definitely have some favorites & must-do's, we try to do something new so we're...

If you could replace a WDW ride/show with it's DL version, which one would it be?

I doubt many people here have been to Tokyo Disney Resort, but sure, what would you replace?

If you could replace a WDW ride/show with it's DL version, which one would it be?

I whole-heartedly agree! We rode Splash at DL and came out pretty disappointed; it is one of our favorite WDW rides and the DL version doesn't even come close.

    BTMRR Refurb This Spring?

For someone who has plenty of typing errors & grammatical errors contained within a very short reply, you sure are quick to jump to an insult. I hope you will be kinder to strangers in 2016. @alhurricane Welcome to the forums! These days, it is tough to find a time to go to the parks that works...

The One thing wdw can not get right.

It sounds like you had a solitary bad experience; sorry to hear that. I will say I have seen the random arrangement* of toppings before myself, but I've seen that at other great pizza joints, too. In regards to your other complaint, I have eaten at Via Napoli on every single trip to WDW and...

The One thing wdw can not get right.

I don't usually enjoy pizza because a lot of places do it wrong, especially chains (see: Papa John's, Domino's, and esp. Pizza Hut - YUCK). But when I find a place that does it right, I could stuff myself to the brim. There are several places (mostly hole-in-the-walls) I've been to here at home...

If you could replace a WDW ride/show with it's DL version, which one would it be?

Oh man, I personally did not like the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay at all. But to each his/her own :)

If you could replace a WDW ride/show with it's DL version, which one would it be?

The ride itself is a bit different, though; some people like the way it begins faster than WDW's version. Personally, I agree that WDW's is superior.

If you could replace a WDW ride/show with it's DL version, which one would it be?

Added! I'd forgotten it was the same exact layout. Indy is a FAR FAR FAR superior ride.

If you could replace a WDW ride/show with it's DL version, which one would it be?

After our recent trip to Disneyland, my wife and I were talking about the vast difference between some of the DL versions of rides & shows that also exist at WDW. Now I'm curious... if you could replace the WDW version of a ride with it's Disneyland counterpart, what would be your top two picks?

    Least favorite popular MK attractions

I will have to say Philharmagic, but that's not to say I don't love it; it's just the weakest out of all of the listed attractions. Side Note: After our recent trip to DL, I finally understand why people who have been to DL don't really care for WDW Space Mountain. Or WDW Pirates, for that...
