The only reason they are like that is so they don't move. Look closely they are tied down and that is the only way they could do it. People would still face forward like always.

Also from descriptions of how the ride will work some of it is in the dark which means no theming at all. I could be wrong on this but this is just based on descriptions and stuff that I have read.

The video card that is in there is only 32MB of RAM. A pretty old one when you consider that you can get 256MB and I belive 512MB now. Also to coftiably run the OS you have to update the RAM to 512MB.

Considering that all the news articles and press releases called this a teaser commercial there should be more on the way. Going on the fact the they end the commercial with the characters still not at the castle and a castle in the distance the story will continue on.
