I agree with this. The building is huge and there’s no reason to think that it can be well hidden. Still, the parks have given us reason for optimism lately, in my opinion. Pandora and Toy Story Land aren’t perfect, but many of the worst fears about those projects simply didn’t come to pass...

If WDW is anything like the public school I work in, the lawyers have advised against encouraging eclipse viewing at all, for fear that guests will look at the sun with unprotected eyes. That said, I'm sure plenty of folks there will come prepared and you'll see many wearing safety shades.

There will Yes! Totality is the big show. My wife and I will be in our mid-60s in 2045. If God is good enough and we can be at WDW on that day we are already planning on it. There will be about 6 minutes of total darkness! Incredible.

Not a bad idea. Animals do respond in strange ways during an eclipse, acting as they would at dawn or dusk mostly. It won't be a total eclipse at WDW, so I don't know how much unusual behavior you might see, but any of the animal experts at AK or AKL would probably be able to talk about that.

Those would be amazing! If only they were really safe for direct solar viewing! I'm a high school science teacher. School starts for me the first week of August, so I'm making it my mission those first few days of August to make sure my kids all know that regular sunglasses won't cut it...
