$53 dessert with that $115 steak? Article on Theme Park leaving middle class behind...

Your talking about numbers that are around only 10% smaller depending on which Disney park you are comparing Universal to. Many theme park analyst see it happening. Even Disney enthusiast who run Disney themed podcast see it happening and can admit that within the next 5-10 years its possible...

$53 dessert with that $115 steak? Article on Theme Park leaving middle class behind...

And I am curious what you mean by this. Yes Animal Kingdom is getting Avatarland. But Hollywood Studios is not getting Star Wars land any time soon. Designs of it were presented to people high up in Disney and the concepts were denied supposedly. Nothing new to Epcot besides ONE Frozen ride. And...

$53 dessert with that $115 steak? Article on Theme Park leaving middle class behind...

Universal only had about 1.8 million less visitors then Hollywood Studios. Considering the multiple millions that visit every year thats REALLY close. Also if you look at Universals attendance its attendance growth the past 5 years has jumped quicker then those two Disney parks.

$53 dessert with that $115 steak? Article on Theme Park leaving middle class behind...

I agree the pricing is getting out of hand. Not everyone who loves Disney makes the most money in the world. Myself included. I was at Star Wars Weekend yesterday and I had a glorious time. Being a huge Star Wars nerd for the past 20 years I loved it. BUT for one of their premium packages where...

    Disney Springs dining over priced?

I was talking about being AROUND that range. Not being specific. I'm well aware any average chain restaurant can have a plate for $10-$15 dollars average.

    Disney Springs dining over priced?

That is true. Being a Florida resident though I know a lot of people that want to experience Disney regularly but can't afford it. Downtown Disney is a place where people can go and not buy a ticket to get in. I say for the LOTS of locals that want to spend a evening there make sure there are...

    Disney Springs dining over priced?

Meals around the $10 range. A draft beer for $5-$6 would be nice lol. I feel more options like Earl of Sandwich need to be made. Good food for under $10.

    Disney Springs dining over priced?

I want to start this off by saying I know there are a few dining options in Downtown Disney that are reasonably priced considering the fact it's Disney. That out of the way I was reading about the new restaurant in Disney Springs being built called STK that will be a upscale restaurant. So I'm...

I Am Literally Crying - EPCOT Tribute

Some of those animatronics in Space Ship Earth are still the same. Making them older then me which is a weird thought.

Attractions that offer the best views

I rode Everest the other week after the Everest 5k challenge my friends ran. Riding that at night overlooking Animal Kingdom is amazing.

    Must go to parks..

I am a huge Epcot fan so I'd say dont miss it. Future World has some awesome rides and the countries have plenty to offer as far as shops, dining, and shows to keep ya entertained. Not a huge Animal Kingdom fan.

Is the Peoplemover the only futuristic thing in Tomorrowland?

I love the Peoplemover. Its almost a guarantee that I will be on it when I am at Magic Kingdom. I do think Space Mountain is still a very futuristic ride. The concept of flying through space is very futuristic if you ask me. I personally have loved it for the past 16 years I've been visiting...

Buzz Lightyear - Irrelevant or Still Solid If Maintained?

I still enjoy the ride. I think it needs a overhaul cause it does feel a bit dated at this point. But as long as its still fun to do I can't complain too much.

Seven Dwarves Mine Train....NOT for Big people

I'm 5'10 and about 175 pounds. I think its quite uncomfortable for my legs. I have broad shoulders also so whoever is sitting next to me is in for a tight squeeze.

For those who will miss Sorceror Mickey's Hat from DHS

I never minded the hat. I dont know why people were in a uproar about it. Some of my best photos I've taken at WDW were with that colossal hat. The Chinese Theater will be a nice sight though. It represents Hollywood and the movies which is what the park is really all about.

Is bug spray needed in december?

You'll never have problems with bugs in Walt Disney World. They do stuff in the parks at night when the guest are gone that keep the insects out somehow. Even if you are leaving Disney property you shouldn't have a issue. I live on the east coast of florida and havent had any problems.
