    Fatality on the Dream

Yes, there is a morgue on ships. My aunt sailed with a small group from her area (The Grandmothers Club) several years ago on a Hawaiian cruise aboard HAL, and one of the ladies passed away on one of the first nights onboard. The ship contacted her family to see if they wanted the body...

    Just back 4 night Dream

Thanks! Were you on itinerary A? I believe all but one of the September sailings were, so I'm going to say you most likely were. :)

    Just back 4 night Dream

I believe you were itinerary A (Nassau, CC, At Sea). If so, what nights did you repeat one of the dining rooms? TIA!

Our Eastern Caribbean trip on the Fantasy

Enjoying your report! Yeah, that app...hmmm...let's just have two Sunday's shall we? ;) Disappointing about the lack of enforcement in the adult areas. It's a hit or miss thing on all the ships...some CMs chase the kiddos out right away, others play the "customer is always right" game...

Part of 2015 Is Out Tomorrow!

We did our first Disney cruise in February 2000. I had just taken a tour of the Wonder the previous November and we ended up booking a last minute FL resident deal for a 3-nighter on the Magic. Way too short, for sure, but I did two more three-nighters after that before finally embarking on a...

Part of 2015 Is Out Tomorrow!

Yay! My wish has been granted...an Eastern itinerary calling on San Juan and St. Thomas! Now if they would just add Tortola to the mix, I would be all set!

Huge News Direct From our Cruise Director for 2015!!

I personally preferred St. Thomas to St. Maarten. Honestly, before we went I didn't expect that to be my choice, but in the end it was. St. Thomas was just more beautiful as far as views go. Yes, the port area in St. Maarten is much nicer, but I go for the views from afar! And if DCL...

help and advice needed please first disney cruise!!!!!!!!!

Hey! What a great change of plans! We travel as adults only, so hope I can help with some of your questions. First, for dining. Being vegetarians, we find the dining rooms on all the ships to be a bit of a challenge. I will say the Black Bean Chipotle Cakes in Animator's Palate are the...

Trip Report Cruising With the 27 Ladies of Leisure!

Awesome review! Your mixology class sounds super...and how cool they had non-alcoholic drinks for you to do as well. :) Thanks for sharing!

What was your favorite cruise & why.

7-night Western on the Magic for the ship (and for port call on Key West), but 7-night Eastern (won't say cruise line since it was not DCL) for the ports. Absolutely love and adore St. Maarten and St. Thomas! I'm guessing it would be the same on a Disney ship as well. :p

Trip Report Cruising With the 27 Ladies of Leisure!

Loving this report! I especially love your pics of the cabanas as I was finally able to snag one for our Feb Dream cruise (you know? the one where I mentioned I would be at CC on my birthday!). So looking forward to finally experiencing that. And we did select a family beach one, even though...

Trip Report I ESCAPED!!! (part 2) - The BIG 2-0!

Happy 20th Anniversary! I'm so thrilled the do-over was a much, much better experience for you. What a way to cruise...total relaxation! We did that on Princess this past April...needed to get away after Klondike went to the bridge, so booked a cruise for the following week so we could get...

Trip Report I ESCAPED!!! (part 1) - The Dream Girls

Thanks for posting your report...enjoyed it immensely! Even though I badly wanted to join in on this cruise, we had planned a sailing for October with friends of ours...which they cancelled out on. We switched it out to the February 2nd sailing on the Dream (I will be at Castaway Cay ON my...

    New to cruising

Wow, just wow is about all I can say after that. I love your final thought on all of this, and agree with you wholeheartedly. This pretty much sealed the deal for me (really, us) on Remy. I was on the fence about it after the V&A fiasco, thinking maybe we should give it a try...but no way...

    New to cruising

I certainly wouldn't feel looked down on. The whole experience though would just be something I wouldn't be comfortable with. I'm not one that likes to be waited on (and in fact we (half) joked on our last cruise that they should have a night where the guests serve dinner to the dining staff...

    New to cruising

Confession. For our 10th anniversary trip to WDW we had booked Victoria & Albert's (the Queen Victoria's Room no less). Just could not go through with it. Totally not either one of our style's. Poor Russ when he called to make the reservation asked what was the absolute best dinner he could...

    Dream Rotational Dining

I would totally be happy to get that pineapple and coconut toasted banana appetizer though on a 3-night cruise!

OMG! Kelly, I read a trip report awhile back where someone mentioned this whole escort thing and were totally creeped out by it! That was enough for me to write off Remy.
