    Most treasured Disney Souvenir?

My family received 2 champagne glasses from Cinderella's Royal Table when they overcooked my father's steak. Some of the most gorgeous champagne glasses that I've ever seen. They're only taken out for very special occasions. I also have a Year of a Million Dreams Mickey Ears hat that I still...

Advice on how to handle tour groups

Don't let it ruin your WDW planning! You'll have a wondeful time. However, I've had some bad experiences with these tour groups and the best thing I can tell you is to do your best to ignore them. Last year, my family and I redeemed our Fastpasses for Big Thunder and a South American tour group...

    Rope Drop Question

The Rope Drop ceremony is good but an empty Main Street is THE photo opportunity. Enjoy it because it's something that not many get to experience. If you're going back to Magic Kingdom at a later date, just go see the rope drop ceremony then. If you do miss it, it's not the end of the world.

Does anyone still like Indiana Jones?

I love the show and after seeing the 8th Voyage of Sinbad at IOA for the first time last month, I love it even more. However. I do with it was updated with stunts from the other films or possibly give a sneak peek of what's to come for the franchise. I also recently saw it for the first time at...

Star Wars Gift Shops in other parks besides Hollywood Studios?

World of Disney and Once Upon a Toy also have substantial Star Wars merch offerings. Once Upon a Toy had more variety when I was there yesterday(bags, artwork, etc.)

    Star Tours this week

The Jakku sequence will be on every ride for the time being. I don't recall hearing any information about when the ride will be back to normal. When I rode multiple times last Monday, I did get the Naboo/underwater sequence as well as Coruscant. I think you've just been unlucky with the second...

    Funko Pops in the Parks

I do not know if these are still available in-park but there is an exclusive Haunted Mansion Funko collection. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2015/11/haunted-mansion-funko-pop-figures-debut-at-disney-parks/ These are the only ones I know that are exclusive. Many of the ones sold at the...

    Embarrassing Disney Stories!

This is my only embarrassing story so bear with me. I was riding ToT for the first time in either 2007 or 2008 and I was loving it. The ride ended, everyone clapped, etc. When I try to stand up and exit the ride, I can't. My legs would not move at all. The CM panicked, picked me up, and he...

Is there anything left of Spectromagic?

When I was on one of the tours, I asked the CM once we entered the warehouse. I was told that there is nothing left of SpectroMagic except what's on the limited edition pins.

    Dinner at Epcot

I've done San Angel Inn and Marrakesh frequently. They're both great restaurants so it depends on your choice of food and atmosphere. Just look at the menus see what your family likes. Mexican is more approachable but if your family is willing to try something new, try Marrakesh or Tokyo Dining.

Anyone ever seen a vlogger in the parks or vlog themselves?

I've never seen anyone vlog in the parks but someone thought it was a bright idea to arm the South American tour groups with selfie sticks before they were banned. It's called Escape from Tomorrowland if anyone is wondering.

    EPCOT World Showcase Rotational Pavilion

The consoles are there to promote Disney games. In most stores, Disney hands-on demos are nonexistent so this gives people the opportunity to try their games. I noticed they were still there on my last trip when I was waiting for the cardmember meet and greet.

So if I said part of Epcot smells terrible, could you guess where that was?

I always relax here as well. I've never encountered any smells on this side of the building. Occasionally, the Character Spot smells odd when I'm in there.

    Favorite Place to People Watch

Tokyo Dining if you're seated by a window facing the lagoon. You get a great view of the water, the surrounding countries, and the main walkway below. Lots of great views from one location.

Toy Story stand by time early AM

I'm always there at rope drop at DHS, even the early non EMH days. I go straight to TSM and walk right on. (I'm a faster walker so I get there before most.) By the time I get off, the posted wait time is between 30-60 minutes. Since it's early in the morning, you can't really trust it but it can...
