Can someone explain Genie+ to me?

Simple thought I have had here but what if Disney just planned your whole day out for you? Or your whole trip? A fastpass for every ride essentially if you stay for a week and you can still try to get other fastpasses or pay for them if you want to go on the big rides again. But for the...

    Will Harmonious Survive?

Wasnt horrible. However definitely needs some work as it seems to just be a series of things pieced together to showcase every movie and character possible. Some good parts, some meh parts. but the basis for a good show is there. I think. Will need a few more viewings but i thought there...

What's deflated your WDW enthusiasm the most: Pandemic or Genie+

Pandemic since it took my job, but Genie+ just let me know I am no longer their target market after 16 trips. Feels like something was taken away from me, to be honest, but that is life. I also don't drive a Lamborghini. I understand business and making lots of money, but it sucks...

    Happily Ever After vs. Enchantment

HEA took a while for me to like it. Huge Wishes fan. But it ended up winning me over. I was expecting more from Enchantment but so far seems meh. But a one off family will probably love it

    Beacons of Magic

What they have done to Spaceship Earth is truly incredible. One of the best upgrades I have ever seen.

    Opening

A lot of things are already being canceled up to and including July 1 to avoid having people gather in groups. kids sports for the summer? Forget it. The US response to this pandemic has been and still is scary. A chief Medical Officer of Health has canceled their WDW trip planned for late...

    1 Day P2P with Express or 2 Days 1PPD?

I've done two parks in one day with the front of the line express pass and it is tough to get it all done and have time to enjoy it and eat. 2 days minimum going forward. You made the right choice

Just back from 2 weeks in Disney, some thoughts on our visit

You can keep my ten minutes. Great read. Kinda how I feel when I go. I expect it to be a dump after reading the boards but still have a great time. You cant let little things ruin your trip. Take it all in and enjoy your break from the every day. Thanks for the great read.

Fast & Furious- Supercharged details officially released

I know that it is similar but it just doesnt seem to have a decent flow. I love going there but I think it is the remnants of being a production studio, similar to issues in Hollywood studios. Rides shoved in certain places. Maybe I am liking the themed lands look more than just rides put in...

Fast & Furious- Supercharged details officially released

Just rode it for the first time as well as Kong and Fallon and underwhelming is how I would describe all 3. the 360 tunnels weren't great. The effects weren't great either but the rides weren't terrible. Would I plan a trip to ride any of them? Hell no. They will fall into the category of...

Has anyone spent 2 weeks at WDW?

Just got back from 2 weeks and went to the parks every day. 1 day at Universal and 10 at the parks. Can't purchase a larger ticket package unfortunately. I would go for three weeks if i could afford it. Food prices were insane staying on site but even after 11 full days of being in the parks...

Flight of Passage, How Does it Rank at WDW in E-Tickets?

Just rode FOP for the first time a couple of weeks ago and While it was good I didnt think it was or is the greatest attraction or ride at WDW. I don't say this to be provocative or anything as I am not usually in the minority on things, other than not liking Fantasmic. I think part of it is...

So is anyone not going anymore? (I'm still a fan. lol)

My last trip was in 2015 and we are going in May of this year. However for the first time I am not feeling the excitement I usually do. I don't like waiting in line and seeing how packed things are really doesn't appeal to me. I go to experience the rides, shows, and attractions, not to stand...

    Ride Evacs: Your Stories

Expedition Everest just as we were about to re-enter the mountain. the back 3 cars were still hanging out of the mountain and people had to walk on the grate to the side of the train to get into the mountain. Im not great with heights so probably would have been stuck there from fear. Great...

    May 2018

May 7 for a week. Take a look on disneyworld.com or the Disney springs hotel sites. B resort wants $999 a night. Something is up. EDIT: After looking again there are no longer any values left. But moderate prices seem a bit lower again. Had some friends looking to go and the prices have...

    May 2018

Yes that is true, but 3 weeks ago prices at values were in the $120-$130 range, now $349 a night. something has to have changed. Disney Springs hotels are the same and most dont have rooms available now. Toy Story Land perhaps? Do they know a date we don't?

    May 2018

Was looking at prices for May 2018 and hotel room prices have tripled in the matter of 3 weeks. off site hotels are bad as well. Any idea what is going on in early to mid may? no holidays and nothing else i can see that would cause it.
