An exciting nightly show would provide incentive to visit more exhibits, shows, etc. right now there just isn't a way to end your evening the right way unless you hop away from AK. I could probably kill a few hours if there were something worth waiting for.

I think food-wise it beats most, if not all of the MK restaurants, It's great for a family gathering, and let's be honest - its great to have a cold beer or your drink of choice.

YES! Wilderness Lodge is fantastic! I don't think it gets nearly the hype that it should. Let me know if you have any extra room and I'll crash the party! Try to lower expectations for the rest of the group just for fun, so you can see them be blown away when they get there!

I'm sure someone can correct me or back me up on this but I don't recall Columbus Day as being a holiday that Disney purposely avoids for their room discount windows. If you check out Disney's rack rates around those dates, you're still in the middle of the road as far as price is concerned...

Another option is Big River Grille and Brewing Works. It too is right on the Boardwalk. No reservations needed, they only take walk-ups. They have a few big HD tvs at the bar, very good beer and burgers. I watched March Madness there one year with a large party and it worked great. Might be...

Reservations are so far out now, just go ahead and see the next time it's available for dinner in the future. Great reason to come back on another trip!

Great attraction. I love watching Bill and Helen in the preshow fake looking at one another across TVs when you know they can't stand one another and aren't in the same place intentionally. The overly dramatic music is great too. It does make me feel old explaining to my kids what the movie...

I can't wait until it's complete, Mickey2008 is right, it is kind of an eyesore. New Fantasyland still seems to have an odd kind of traffic flow. I hope the SDMTC opens everything up a bit.
