During my recent visit on SSE, the narration on our vehicle was in German while our friends in the next car was in French. Neither of us were given an option for languages and I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else lately.

From what I recall, TTR was supposed to start off as a peaceful raft ride past various Asian animal exhibits and after a while, you would “Take a wrong turn” and then the rapids, thrill ride would begin. If this was the original plan, the animals wouldn’t have been affected by the rapids as...

I’ll be there during the first week in December and it’ll probably be my last visit for several years (too friggin expensive). I’m hoping for the best but prepared for almost anything.

I tried Beverly last December and it wasn’t as bad as I was led to believe. It wasn’t good but it certainly wasn’t the “Bile on Tap” that I expected.

If Jack Sparrow/Depp is out of any movie reboot plans, and the reboot is successful, it’s inevitable that the character will be less and less relevant over time and will be removed from the attraction. Of course, it may take 50 years for him to be removed but good things come to those who wait.

I would prefer World of Motion 2.0 but that ship sailed and sunk a long time ago.

It’s too bad that R. Lee Ermey is dead. He could have narrated it “Full Metal Jacket” style.

There was a World’s Fair in New Orleans in 1984 (I had a season pass and went 30 times!). While it was a cultural success, it failed miserably in financial matters and went bankrupt. One of the many reasons it failed is that too many people were comparing it to Epcot Center.

With no alcohol whatsoever. It really was a pleasant experience.

At the New Orleans World’s Fair In 1984, I rode this over the Mississippi River multiple times during a sweltering hot Louisiana summer. The cars were not air conditioned but well ventilated and the experience was very comfortable.

I've experienced all three versions of Imagination as an adult (yes, I'm old). I remember the first time that I saw the second version and it was a shock to the senses. What had been a beautiful, whimsical and magical attraction that filled people with awe, had been transformed into a boring...

Sort of like the carousel part of the original Journey into Imagination?
