    Unique Foods of the "World"

I just finished listening to the wdwtoday podcast about bygone foods from disney and it reminded me of something I had as a kid. Does anyone remember the hot dog egg rolls? I just remember when I was 12 my parents let me go to the MK alone when they did their adult night out. I went to the...

What new Table Service would YOU create to be in Disney World???

I have a friend who has worked at WDW for 20 years and said the rumor among cast members is that they want to make the riverboat stationary and build a bridge to Tom Sawyer's island (thus cutting the need for the rafts) and expand the Aunt Polly's Kitchen to create a Tiana themed restaurant...

    Unique Foods of the "World"

I had forgotten about the Strawberry soup. That is a fantastic one. I also really like the Avocado Margarita in La Cava de Tequila.

    Unique Foods of the "World"

I just got back from Orlando, having spent 5 days at WDW and 3 days at Star Wars Celebration. While at the Magic Kingdom I had the chance to try two foods that I haven't found anywhere else: strawberry punch at Cheshire Cafe (formerly Enchanted Grove) and the sweet and spicy chicken waffle...

    Your Hidden Gems.

I agree with the original post that Sanaa is a real diamond in the rough. I had a reservation for their first seating time and we showed up early. They do a drum ceremony to open the restaurant and we sat right next to the window and watched the zebras stroll by. I recommended this place to a...

    Peco Bills Tavern.

Pecos Bill's is a great place to eat. I love the fact that you can get cheese sauce for free! The best place to sit in there is the little faux courtyard down the corridor and just past the restrooms to the left. I love that it has a little balcony and lights strung across it. Every time I eat...

    Fave Snacks In World Showcase?

I really like the School Bread from Norway its nice because it is sweet and custardy, but not overly sweet. The whole grain wheat helps. I also really like the cloudberry horn from Norway as well. Beyond those, the pork buns at china are good too.

Yak & Yeti: Table vs Counter???

One of the cool things you can do if you do the table service is try to time your meal with the parade. If you request a table upstairs next to the windows its a great way to dine and watch the parade. It may be of note that the restaurant isn't run by Disney, but by Landry's of Rain forest and...

    Disney DIning March Madness!

I figured since I'm not a huge fan of Basketball I would try creating a tournament I'm truly interested in. So with out further ado, below I have created several polls. Each poll is its own division and will only go up against divisions in their own conference. The conferences/ divisions are...

    The Ultimate Sandwich.

It may be simple, but I really enjoy the BLT at EOS. It is rare that I find a sandwhich shop that does this sandhwich justice. Usually the bacon is too old or the bread is too hard. But, aside from one I make at home, this is the best sandwhich at WDW.

    Food At Hoop Dee Doo?

I've had the exact opposite experience that wolf had. I really loved the food at Hoop Dee Doo and I thought the food at the Luau (Aside from the bread) was only so so. But I guess you can crack that up to inconsistency. I have done Hoop Dee Doo 7 times and it is by far the best dinner...

Hoop Dee Doo or Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

HDDR is the absolute best dinner show on WDW property. The Luau pails in comparison to HDDR. You should definitely do it. I suggest paying the extra for Section 1 seating as it is incredibly engaging. I haven't actually done the Backyard BBQ, but have had friends that have done it. They...

Drinks at Kona and Whispering Breakfast

Drinks aren't included with the Skillet at Whispering Canyon. The skillet is like the feature option on their menu which is otherwise a typical style menu. The drinks come separate. I want to say that every Disney breakfast comes with free refills on everything except specialty drinks. Sorry, no...

    Best breakfast food/atmosphere

Trail's End Buffet is the best deal in the Kingdom and its tasty too. The atmosphere is maybe a little generic, but the scenery around the restaurant is great. Its connected to Pioneer Hall at Fort Willderness.

Which of These Character Breakfast Is Your Fave???

I voted Tusker House because the food is the best of any breakfast buffet I 've had at Disney. The big reason for this is variety. No other buffet has the amount of options that this one does. Also, walking through DAK before it opens was pretty awesome. I really enjoyed The Crystal palace as...

    Wishes dessert party

If you have kids, especially girls, possibly one of the most magical things that happens during the dessert party is that tinker bell waves to you as she is going overhead. Just make sure to get a place at the railing under the wire for her.
