    News Destination D23 2023

But why can't they just fix Dinosaur and build the excavator coaster? Boneyard is always great for kids. I miss original ideas/themed areas/attractions, not forced IP. They could make an epic dinoland area if they wanted to. Sad thing is they don't want to :(

    Dinosaur has seen better days

I love dinosaur AND scary movies are my favorite. Amazing how different some people can be.

Pretty certain that picture is at the first carno you encounter.

    Dinosaur has seen better days

Dinosaur is my favorite attraction at WDW. Yep. I said it. It always has been. The potential is too great plus I've always loved dinosaurs and I love that ride system. My DREAM would be if they removed all that crappy black light paint and made it truly scary again. Those carno animatronics...

    DVC Member Annual Passes.

Its absurd they have to make it THIS complicated to go to their parks. Its not impossibly complicated, but adding in all the other things you have to know about and plan with... It becomes a lot fast. Not only do you need reservations but a DVC member with APs can't just walk in... You have to...

Question about DAS and it's qualifications

While we're talking DAS qualifications and questions. My 70 year old dad has heart problems (even had surgery to fix some things) and can't stand in one location for too long or walk slow (aka, basically what a line is). He required a DAS at our last trip in July of 2022. We're going again this...

extended magic hours, what a joke

Yes that's what I was referring to. I remember being in the parks at 3am and thinking how they're about to open again in like 4 hours. Crazy for them I'm sure but totally amazing for guest experience.

    DVC Member Annual Passes.

Not being able to buy an AP is really hurting us. We let ours expire last year when they were still selling them because I got pregnant and knew we wouldn't be going for nearly a year. Then they stopped selling them and now we're stuck. We're loyal DVC members who have 3 trips planned this year...

extended magic hours, what a joke

Remember the free true extended 3 hours past park close (which sometimes pushed magic kingdom to fully close at 3am)? Now those were extra magic hours. Anything less is subpar after experiencing those.

    Passholder rant

I'm somewhat in the same boat as you except we didn't go for nearly a year because we were expecting another baby. Our first child "aged out" as well and we're equally as screwed. I called and it went through some levels of higher ups who all agreed that we deserved one but the system wouldn't...

Please Help w/Laundry Services Animal Kingdom Kidni Village

I'm going out on a limb here to support the OP. As someone who also has a special childhood blankie of which I take on all vacations with me, I deeply deeply sympathize. As for the question of confusion associated with putting a blanket in a pillow case... Why is that complicated? My blankie is...

insiders ONLY... is there a possibility that the Magical Express comes back..

I'll find my own way if need be IF Disney can still pick up my luggage. That was the best part of the service. When you have kids and car seats and strollers and diaper bags, the last thing you want to do is wait at luggage claim and haul your missive suitcases out to a bus or what have you. I...

    Epcot Restaurants in July

I've done the free and paid for dining notifications before. I've had more success with the pay one. I have these set up now!

    Epcot Restaurants in July

Thanks. Hm I tried that and still no luck for ANY time of either. Weird. Trying to get GG for lunch on July 16 and Coral Reef for dinner on July 20. I'll keep trying! ETA: I see that both of those are used for the garden Rocks concert series dining package. Disney is probably holding a bunch of...

News Harmony Barber Shop to reopen in July

Great, but they missed my son's first haircut by a year :(

    Epcot Restaurants in July

We're making our ADRs now for our late July trip and can't find any availability for Garden Grill or Coral Reef for any day on our trip, any time. Are they closed in July? Garden Grill I understand because characters, but Coral Reef too? Just seems odd.

    Please delete.

I joined in 2010 when I was 20 and now I'm 32. I don't post toooo much but I pop in once in a while. I am from the forum generation and have always loved the forum format. Reading a forum takes patience and I feel that's something people aren't interested in anymore. However, I love coming here...

    MagicBand+ announced

I am a big fan of magic bands and I hope they come out with a DVC design! I currently have been using my DVC magic band for probably 5 years now. (Never replaced the battery and it never died yet!). Would love to upgrade to one of these!

    Halloween " Party " or " Boo Bash " ? Announcement ?

I haven't finished reading the whole thread, so apologies if this was mentioned... But what if they did a split. Boo Bash for like 3 of the nights and MNSSHP maybe 1 night a week. The adults/teens get their late low crowd party and families can enjoy an earlier, cheaper, more crowded party (as...
