Never heard of this room on the second floor being used to control the sword, but we still operate the sword daily.

The play area is apart of the standby queue. You don't have to stand in a regular switchback queue like Peter Pan, you get to roam around sit on a bench in the air condition while the kids get to play.

If you use the standby line at dumbo you have to go into the play area. You will be given a pager and have to wait until it goes off. If you do not want to go into the play area at all get a fast pass for dumbo and you will bypass it completely.

The wall in front of the tent is where the photo dumbo will be located at.

Dumbo FP is up and running today! Nice new sign in front of Philhar for both pooh and dumbo with standby wait time as well as fastpass distribution times.

The fastpass line will not go into a play area at all. It's only for the standby line. There is queue inside of the tent just not as much as say Peter Pan. You still have to wait in a line until there is room in the play area for your entire party. Once your pager goes off you come back and wait...

Both spinners will take both standby and fast pass. Just like every other attraction with fast pass there will be a merge point inside the tent to send both lines to both dumbos depending on how fast each one is going.

To be honest I'm not sure. I sure hope they move the machines are moved closer to dumbo. The pooh fast pass machines already confuse everyone already and they think philharmagic is Winnie the Pooh. I've also heard there is going to be a sign near the front of the park saying that dumbos fast...
