Do you ever just say "oh the heck with it" and just go!

The savings happened AFTER the trip was booked. Had there been an unfortunate incident or emergency that money that was being saving for the already booked trip would have been diverted elsewhere. So ya, still rather risky if you ask me.

Do you ever just say "oh the heck with it" and just go!

This very reason why the economy is in a mess right now. I'm glad you went to the world, I'm sure everyone here would love to be there now but just booking and worrying about paying later is way too risky.

    Worst Disney Experience

My worst experience happened waiting for the bus heading back to the resorts. As you all know, scooter people and families with strollers have first dibs to get on the bus. This one dude on a scooter, you could tell was scamming his insurance company, was trying to drive his scooter up the...

    Worst Disney Experience

No sympathy from me dude, should have planned the timing better. If the wait to Star Tours ended up being longer than expected, why not leave the line and head to the show. This entitlement mentality is what is wrong with the world today, particularly North Americans.

Things We do to Save For Disney

My gf and I have a joint savings account where everytime we use our bank card to make a purchase, 75 cents is automatically transfered from chequings to savings. We also save our liquor and beer bottles and return them in bulk to get a larger return/refund.

Crazy things youve seen at Disney!

I may have told this story before, but I will share it again. While waiting in line to catch the bus to head back to my resort, there was a man in a scooter trying to board the bus, as he has the right of way. You could tell he was not a regular user of the device as he could not align...

Too much Alcohol in the parks!

We may as well just argue with ourselves. There is no issue with "drunks" in the parks. There is nothing wrong with having a drink or two while walking through World Showcase. People don't go to WDW to get ed up, it's too expensive and there are many more places/options to do so.

    The Hobbit at Disney?

Disney missed a big opportunity when the LOTR series was first being shopped around to put on film. When Eisner was in charge, he turned down the opportunity for Disney to be the studio behind LOTR. So if Disney goes asking about including The Hobbit in any of its parks, I think they will be...

    Things on castle

It's a boom arm, for the draw bridge. The bridge doesn't lift, but if this was a real midieval castle, that's where the chains would pull from, no?
