Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Now they mostly tell you to point with two fingers, not to talk about the people inside the costumes, and mind your P's and Q's and then they send you on your way. Unfortunately.

Napping in EPCOT, dealing with new meds and Afib.

Preshow room at the Awesome Planet movie in Land pavilion? Air-conditioned and usually pretty quiet in there.

    'Lightyear' Coming Summer 2022

You were quick! ;) I rethought my work choice and edited my comment a minute later. Still, 74% is better than a lot of Pixar's track record lately... better than Elemental is doing, for instance.

    'Lightyear' Coming Summer 2022

Seems like an odd move to dismiss the creative team in charge. The reviews from critics were generally really positive; it seemed to me like the movie's financial disappointment was more just a result of poor marketing and the culture war blowing up, rather than any creative failure. I wonder...

Cast Member Pay & Labor Laws

If grocers and retailers are just supposed to be worked by high schoolers making summer spending money, then who's expected to work there during the work day and the school year? 🤔

Rotunda Bistro at the American Adventure

The American Adventure rotunda isn't unused, it's preshow space. It sets the mood and tone for World Showcase's flagship attraction, while providing a comfortable and contemplative space to wait for the next show. It'd be akin to setting up F&W booths inside the Haunted Mansion stretching...

What Will Replace Blue Man Group?

Maybe a Broadway show? Doesn't Universal own a couple?

    Disney Wish

Anyone else underwhelmed? Looks way too in-your-face with the IP, including in adults-only areas and main dining rooms. The idea of having Elsa singing "Let it Go" or Iron Man walking around, while I'm trying to eat a 4-course meal of escargot or filet mignon is... odd, to say the least. Seems a...

FL Governor tells CDC to get its act together

Good. Let's see if other cruise lines will follow, and maybe DeSantis will be forced to recede. There's no way cruise lines will be able to perform well financially if vaccinations aren't enforced. I would guess one more outbreak/quarantine incident like the few that happened last year and the...

    Pictures of the Disney Inn?

It got a brief Snow White overlay for awhile. I think that was during the "Disney Inn" days, rather than as the Golf Resort.

Disney to Sell Vista Way Apartments

Yeesh... What made Disney decide to build their hyper-immersive deluxe African savanna resort right on the property line like that, anyway? By the 1990s it seems like they should have seen this coming.

    Cash-Strapped Disney

Surprised they're still even considering reworking anything but Splash Mountain at this point. SM is the only retheme that got a press release, and has really been the source of all the national attention lately. Skipping or postponing the other stuff seems like a no-brainer, at least until cash...

Any word on if the expansion is still on track to open next year? Hopefully everything is further along than the American expansions were.

    Houses near MK

Yep, technically those are just about the only residences on true WDW property. Pretty fascinating.

wouldn't this be the best time for construction on WDW?

Care to share more? 🙃 Did Disney get cold feet about new ships? Would explain a lot about the lack of updates....

    Discovery River Boats - Reexamined

Is the canal between Pandora and Harambe still wide enough to let boats pass under? When they built that boardwalk underneath the bridge, my first thought was that it might prevent the boats from ever coming back.
