ok guys, we decided to stick with what we love....Boardwalk. rather risk the transportation issues and construction. We just love it too much to pass up. thanks for all the input though!!

Looking to book in early September. We normally stay at Boardwalk however thinking about trying something new and staying at wilderness lodge. Anyone out there that has stayed at both? My wife and i love being able to walk from BW to Epcot/Studios and the overall "community" atmosphere at BW...

I don't understand why they don't update the show and make it Disney themed. Much like the Beatles/Michael Jackson ones in Vegas. I think it could really be unique and make it fresh again.

so what will happen with all the merchanise with the hat on there? think about how much money will be lost. there is so much crap with that stupid hat on it. bring back the water tower?

LOL....haven't they ALL been tampered with at some point? I just don't like that this totally opens the door for World Showcase to get away from the "country" feel and turn into "Character Country"

about 5 years ago they had a really cool looking Mr. Toad yellow shirt. can't find a picture of it, but it was so much better than this graphic one in my opinion. They sold it at the Philharmagic store for some reason. Didn't see it anywhere else.

stricly from a crowds perspective how bad are the first 2 weeks in Dec.? We usually go the first 2 weeks in Sept and everything short of the big rides are no more than 10-15 mins. Big ones are usually around 30-45.

Is this eventually going to turn those reducing late night magic hours into paying to stay at parks late?

Ask for a room close to the elevators. Those hallways can be long after a day in the parks.

I can only guess that Yeti won't be fixed until Avatar is open. That is assuming they have to close the ride completely to properly fix it. AK can't afford to have Everest down at it's current state of open attractions/rides. Gonna have to wait patiently.

evacuated from the top of Everest. Had to walk down the inside stairwell of the mountain. Exit door was just after the yeti so didn't get a chance to see him up close.

Stayed at both.... Contemporary just felt like a normal hotel to me. My wife and I didn't feel the "magic" staying at BLT. Being on the Boardwalk you feel like you are in a little town. There is a lot going on there. I can sit and watch the friendship boats all day. Can't beat walking to...

Didn't they build entire parks (EPCOT/MK) in the amount of time it's taking to build this coaster? How did they build the entire land before this coaster is finally complete?

Another BIG yes here too. It's way more fun when you dress up though. My wife and I don't even have kids and we've gone the last 5 years. Each year as different character couples.

maybe that's it. i have to exchange our current AP pastic card first. oh well. stupid MM+. now i'll have to wait in line at the front of the park, then wait in line as i can't schedule any fast passes. grrrr

well apparently i went to select a fast pass time and i'm being told i'm not eligible since i'm not participating in MM+. Starting to get annoyed now.

i don't see anywhere that is says orders. i see my AP's are registered. However when i clicked on the magic bands it doesn't allow me to do anything more than view my AP's and deactivate them.

i'm sorry but i'm confused. i have AP, go on the website and see it is active, however i do not see anywhere to register to have the bands shipped. am i missing something? do they get shipped automatically?
