    Possible new WDW plans...

I think I would have answered every question the same way; "No interest, just maintain current attractions and build new ones." This survey annoys me because its more trickery like "MM+" designed to get us to go/spend more. Just do what you got here doing and we'll keep coming, simple concept.

Disney Springs Plans: What do they mean?

Here's my thoughts now after reading this thread and having the opportunity to have gone through the plans themselves; 1. This is way better than what DTD is currently. So there is that. 2. This is not what "we" want (i.e. improve the actual parks). But TDO will only invest into things that...

2014 Logo Desgign Contest Winner Announced

Unfortunately, this "winner" changes nothing ... when this whole thing was initially announced the fans had already "lost" ...

Disney Springs Plans: What do they mean?

I didn't see this mentioned yet but to those wondering about time frame I have it on good authority that the people involved have been told to plan for three years.

    Disney Quest?

I have a very trusted friend in Disney who told me that DQ is a huge money maker. Doubt it's going anywhere.

10 Things to Love About Universal

Here's what I love about Universal ... it doesn't take them 12 months to build restrooms, it takes them 10-11 months to build E-tickets.

    Downtown Disney rumor

The most important aspect of all of this that I feel NEEDS to be addressed is ... When can we expect that giant neon Jessica Rabbit to be sold by MouseSurplus on eBay?

MyMagic+ MagicBands to begin testing in parks soon

I appreciate that in the book and on WDWToday you and your contemporaries never mince words. If something sucks it sucks and you do not shy away from saying that. That sort of unfiltered view combined with this post here (one of the first of its kind) really helps us understand that you can...

    Spirited News & Observations II -- NGE/Baxter

@WDW1974 @Lee So now that we are a little more into all "this" ... I go back to my original question with a slight modification ... how successful or unsuccessful does this need to be to get money pumped back into the parks (attractions wise)? I assume if it is unsuccessful enough they may...

The announcement is in March, right? Or at least scheduled for March right now? @Lee @wdwmagic

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Yeah I meant ANOTHER one in lieu of new attractions. They have no problem adding more than one to a park. Sadly.

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Avatarland actually being constructed - 10.25% Anything else of substance constructed at DAK - 12.75% A new interactive game in lieu of new land/attractions being added to DAK - 94.25%

How does the Madagascar show at BGTB/SWSD affect a potential Dreamworks Kidzone expansion?

Yea I really hope ET never goes away ... I love the ride and so do my kids but more so than that, ET is a proven commodity that has stood the test of time. I would hate it to be replaced by disposable characters from the "now" ... I am not saying that Spongebob is disposable per se but...

Hopefully keeps Madagascar OUT of any Kidzone refurb. Those are TERRIBLE movies.

    Spirited News & Observations II -- NGE/Baxter

No you misunderstood me ... I was agreeing with you ... just basically saying that to me their decisions are driven by far less acceptable numbers, which they would deem "good enough."

    Spirited News & Observations II -- NGE/Baxter

Well I guess I stand corrected, their surveys are like this right ... How would you rate your day in The Magic Kingdom Park? 1. Very Good 2. Very Great 3. Very Magical 4. Magically Good 5. Magically Great 6. Very Magically Great or 7. Very Magically Great and Good

Imagination! Being Replaced w. Dr. Doof?

What's a typical sponsor's investment, ballpark? Are they providing the capital for the entire attraction or percentages or what ... how does say an investment in an attraction look in terms of figures coming from the sponsor?

    Spirited News & Observations II -- NGE/Baxter

I think your percentages are way off ... if the majority of people leave 60% satisfied, meaning maybe come back in 5-7 years, I think TDO is happy. There is no way the product they are putting out now would register at 90% satisfaction level on average. If we were to quantify the satisfaction...
