Well, be sure you get your facts straight after saying someone is "full of it". The rules on crowd control are based on liability for safety of workers. I refer you to the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1970, a Federal law by which employers are responsible for providing workers with a...

Maybe I am stupid, but I have visited both locations regularly. The crowd control at World of Color is exceptional, and has always been so. There is no comparable example in WDW. California laws require strict crowd control measures, and WDW is unwilling to invest in adequate crowd control...

As I mentioned earlier, the big difference in California is the tough laws which makes poor crowd control illegal. Of course in Florida we have RCID - oh, wait a minute...

Another Disney Parks "New Years Eve Announcement" 2012

Yep, that will be called the "Extra Magical Minute" where something magical will happen for one minute each day. Things like FP++ to the bathrooms, or extra napkins with your meal. Wait for the truly magical Disney moment.

    New Walt Disney World logo,

This is probably a more accurate version of what the 2013 logo should be:

    New Walt Disney World logo,

I think you picked a bad example. "Chef Boyardee" is derived from Ettore Boiardi, so his real name was dropped long ago. Also, at one point the company was known as Boyardee Foods. It's a brand name, not a person (just like Betty Crocker). Like it or not, Disney is a brand name for a large...

Well, the WDW version has the glowing saliva effect, from all the idiots who spit on the walls and curtains.

Sorry for not being clear - you always support the workers who try to prop the place up despite the management.

I used to think this was a clever parody of other parks. I never realized it was a business plan.

It's not the crews - they do the best with what they have. It's just the "brand milking" that Disney is doing to maximize return from the parks. A collective desertion of the parks is the only way to solve that, and it won't happen for a long, long time. BTW - I didn't comment on the...

I was planning not to comment here, but your comments are so on target! After my recent visit, I was so disappointed that I will not be going back to WDW - selling my DVC points (I was a charter buyer back when park passes were free) and moving on. It's a shadow of what it once was, and I'm so...

What is the best bet for seeing this? I assume everyone has been shooed out of the park by that time.

"I don't think the imagination pavilion works anymore." - Tony Baxter

Very interesting point - I'm curious to here the "why" for this one. Many large, established companies have the same issue of reinvention and lack of innovation. Is that the case at Disney too?
