Where NOT to eat with the kids

I know that this is WDW, and it is kid friendly, but are there any restaurants we should avoid taking our 3 and 5 year old kids to? We're not going to any Signature restaurants, but are any others we should avoid?

    The Great Stroller Debate

Yeah, I've researched that stroller company and it looks good. I guess I just figured I may as well buy one (Maclaren for $69.99) online for the price of renting one.

    Anyone been Labor Day week?

Awesome! I want to prepared since we will have our 2 young kiddos with us, but I don't want to stress myself out about it. I guess first priority should be figuring out where we want to eat and get reservations. Sound right?

    Anyone been Labor Day week?

We will be travelling Sat. Sept. 5- 12. So the weekend prior to Labor Day through the week. I know it is supposed to be one of the least crowded times of the year to travel! I have subscribed to TouringPlans.com, but do you think I'll need to use the plans on the site? Do you think we'll...

    The Great Stroller Debate

Thanks again for all of your replies! So I have decided to buy vs. rent. So now the question is how many? There will be 3 adults in attendance, a 5 y.o. and 3 y.o. Which is more convenient/realistic, a double stroller, or 2 singles? If you were me, would you buy 1 or 2?

    The Great Stroller Debate

Thanks for all of the replies! I will definitely do a stroller, and I guess I'll probably be better off buying one. My son is 48" and about 53 lbs...tall and lean. He has no risk of becoming obese...the stroller will also provide peace of mind in regards to security. Yes, he is one of those...

    The Great Stroller Debate

Going in Sept with our 53 lb. 5 yr old son, and 3 yr old daughter(not sure of her weight). I will most definitely buy at least 1 nice umbrella stroller, she'll use it. He is questionable. Mid day he'll start getting tired, so I assume we'll go back to our room. I thought about just...

    Is a travel agent necessary?

Pam, Denise took good care of me and presented me with options and ideas I hadn't thought of or considered. The resort for one! I wasn't considering Port Orleans, but apparently it is one of your favorites there at KK. The pics on the WDW website didn't do it justice. After I visited other...

    POR Ol Man Island Pool

So I guess that they are refurbishing this pool. Is there any way to find out what changes they are making, or see pictures of the end product?

    So conflicted...which moderate resort?

I booked our trip! I decided on Port Orleans Riverside. I think we'll be happy there. We would probably be happy at any of them, so I just went with what ranked better on Trip Advisor. Now I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that we get in the Magnolia Terrace!

    Is a travel agent necessary?

I used an agent! I too work on commission, so I was delighted to help someone make a few extra dollars! I know I could have done it on my own, but she did help me make some important decisions (since hubby leaves everything to me).

    So conflicted...which moderate resort?

Ok, so I have taken a look at other sites with pics of POR, and I am seeing why others love it. Magnolia Terrace seems to be the most central location...right?

    So conflicted...which moderate resort?

Anyone know how far of a walk it is from the Pirate Theme Rooms to the food court/bus stop?

    So conflicted...which moderate resort?

I thought that I had narrowed it down to Coronado or Caribbean, but they have the two lowest ratings of the moderate resorts on Trip Advisor. The pics of the Port Orleans resorts on the Disney website must not do them justice. They look old and run down, but they have the highest ratings on...

    Is a travel agent necessary?

They do provide you with your agent's phone number after they send you your quote. I am hoping that the initial conversation I am able to have with KK clarifies questions and concerns before they start doing the work. I have several different scenario possibilities for our trip, but I was only...

    Is a travel agent necessary?

Let me tell you something i DO like about KK, and I've never worked with them...a PHONE NUMBER. I love email, but this is a big decision. I'm going to give them a call (after I feed my daughter some waffles). The agent I was corresponding with from another agency has already made an...

    Is a travel agent necessary?

I am in the beginning stages of planning a trip for September. I priced out everything on the Disney website and also contacted a travel agent for a quote. There aren't any specials available right now, so the price I was quoted is the price I got on the website. I am a planning fanatic...

    Where do I begin

I'm not going to get anything accomplished here at home because I'll be stuck on this site and AllEars (awesome info there!) I already know what I want to do my first day! Yeah, when I went, I think that Magic Kingdom and Epcot were the only parks. I really remember nothing about it...

    Where do I begin

I have been on allears, and it looks like I will be going back! Can't wait to get a book and start looking through it! May have to go do that while my son is in preschool today! Why is the Magic Kingdom so different? Good, bad, neutral different? I anticipated this park to be a favorite...
