I was just there this past weekend. You can smoke in the casino itself, but not in the restaurants. Some areas outside the casino, like the walk~around at the borgata, were also marked as non smoking areas.

Here's a tip: if the dealer has a 6 or less, and you have a combo of 12 to 16, stand (unless you have an ace... :lookaroun ). Let the dealer take the hit, and hopefully the break card :D I am actually heading down shore the following weekend for a week...with a stop over in AC on my way...
