Hello - we just booked the DVC Member cruise for 2011, and our baby is due this January. Lillian will only be about 8 months old, so we thought it would be a good first cruise since the only port is Castaway Cay x2 which is low maintenance. We've done the cruise once before just the two of us...

We live in Wisconsin & have annual passes ... my hubby, dad, and brother are driving down next Saturday (22 hours) ... me & everyone else in the family are flying :ROFLOL:

We are leaving on the 22nd with a family group of 20 people (the first time my hubby & I have ever traveled with the whole family)! You will get some great advice - I'll pass along anything we learn :wave:

We stayed at Jambo w/ savannah view and thought it was fantastic. It didn't smell at all, the resort was beautiful, and the room was spacious. The only trouble we had was that the bus service was not the greatest, but once you adjusted to the less frequent nature it was okay. We are staying...

With our family trip in november (14 adults & 6 kids), we had my cousin (also DVC) who is a lawyer figure out a reasonable total cost per family based on the type of accommodations they would have. (It was based on a $/point that took into account the "mortgage" and dues.) It worked out well...

We have the luggage out w/ piles started and we don't head back to WDW until 11/22 ... but we just got back from a short early Aug trip to WDW so it just seemed easier to unpack, do laundry:sohappy: and then just start to repack!!

I didn't think 2TS was such a big deal - any of the dinner shows (Aloha, HDDR) are 2TS and CP is the same thing - food & a show.

We love to take the time to hit up the deluxe resorts to see the holiday decorations. :xmas: Especially the gingerbread house at the GF.

My hubby carries all of our stuff in a regular size Jansport backback and we've never had problems with any of the rides. We are looking for a smaller bag for him to carry since we have figured out the bare necessities for the parks. Target has a great small slingback from Swiss Army.

My hubby laughs all the time at me and will make a pouty face at any Disney reference b/c it will usually get me going ... home videos from Disney, AA, the song "Remember When", Wishes, heck last night I walked in on the hubby burning a copy of holiday Illuminations to DVD and I burst into tears...

When I booked it the other day I was told that it was 2 TS credits regardless of which tier restaurant.
