So is anyone not going anymore? (I'm still a fan. lol)

I live 3500 miles away. It now costs an arm and a leg to do “Disney” stuff. This year we’re going in April/May but staying 3 nights Vero Beach, 2 nights St Augustine and 5 nights Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista. First time ever no theme parks. Like others have said ..... crowds too big, queues too...

    Disney Selling Power Rangers

From a personal point of view I think this is a good move. They were never a favourite of mine and the are going to look a tad weak against the Marvel characters: http://www.disnology.com/2010/05/13/the-walt-disney-company-no-longer-owns-the-power-rangers/

I have to admit that this time last week we were walking onto all the rides in the Magic Kingdom. I was surprised at the low level of crowds.

    "Pay-as-you-go" Cell Phones?

You can buy TracFones for $10. You then add minutes to it ($20 for 60 minutes) and these are "real" minutes, so if you ring the person sitting next to you or you ring Canada/UK etc it will all be the same cost.

    Brits Beware: XL goes bust.

The flight had already taken off from Orlando but when the XL went bust they didn't have permission to land in the UK. Also, the French and German wing of XL is still trading, so it could also be a case of protecting assets if that aeroplane was owned by XL.

PhotoPass Professional Portait Service price increase

Interesting. They did a similar thing last year so I'm not too sure if it is a "real" price increase. We pre-purchased our photopass for $99.95 and saw the professional offer as well (also $24.95). I rang through to take advantage of the offer only to find out it had run out and had gone back...

Driving from Vero Beach to SSR - tips?

Many thanks for the replies. It looks as if I'll be doing No/1. We'll be travelling from VB to SSR on a Saturday morning. Does anyone know whether there are any major roadworks I'll have to contend with?

Driving from Vero Beach to SSR - tips?

Hi Peeps, Just 6.5 weeks before our holiday in sunny Florida.:sohappy: I was wondering if anybody has any driving experience from Vero Beach to SSR. I think we have 3 main options: 1) Take the 95 then join the B-Line (simplest but longest?) 2) Take the 60 west to the Florida Turnpike then...

    Disney Sweetcorn Forks.

Many thanks for the link. They look great. Unfortunately Disney charge $29.33 to ship to England. Maybe I should get them delivered to SSR.
