Wanted!!! Pictures From Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party!!

When I was there on the 18th, the Aladdin characters were there (Aladdin with Apu or Jasmine and Genie), King Louie and Timon.

    I'm getting killed on airfare!!!

Like other posters have said, you don't need to panic yet. Last minute bookings often don't have assigned seats but that doesn't mean you won't get on the flight. The two adults may be split up though but there's also a chance someone will be willing to swap seats with you. A lot of people...

Am I the only one that dislikes BTM?

The posters who said BTMRR is great because of its mass appeal hit the nail on the head. It's a ton of fun for me without making me too dizzy (although it does make me tipsy). EE is too much for me but BTMRR satisfies the thrill factor for me. Love the theming too but to each his/her own. I...

    Surprise ideas for my mom

Thanks! You all have such great ideas. I'm writing them all down so I can spring a nice surprise on her throughout the year (we have season passes) The carriage ride and tea are really great since she actually doesn't know about them, despite having been to WDW dozens of times. I knew I...

    Surprise ideas for my mom

Thanks for the ideas everyone! I love La Nouba but it's definitely out of my budget haha. The SeaRaycers and horseback riding have been bookmarked to look at, although I think that's more fun for me than Mom :o The carriage ride sounds lovely so I'll have to poke around and see how that...

    Surprise ideas for my mom

Hey all: My mom and I are taking a quick, last minute trip to WDW this weekend. I'm taking off work tomorrow and we'll be heading down to POFQ once she's off work. I was wondering if you had any ideas as to how I may do a nice surprise for her? She's having a very tough/stressful time...

Haha my favorite description of it was my friend who said it was Dances With Wolves Meets The Matrix at the Tree of Life. Pretty accurate I'd say

    Movies...movies...movies

Finally catching up with the times! Recently saw Avatar, The Blind Side, The Proposal and (500) Days of Summer (I had a medical procedure that knocked me out for awhile, can you tell  ) I had heard/read so much about all of them that they were pretty much what I was expecting.

    Movies...movies...movies

aw, glad to see this thread has been thriving in my absence :) Quite depressed over how many movies I haven't seen...it's rather embarrassing really! As always, I appreciate the discussions on here since it helps me figure out what movie to see when I finally plunk money down  I was...

    A Set of Goofy Observations

True statement. I'm definitely the only person that I know who isn't a big fan of Wishes. I get a lot of grief for it but the pyro is definitely good :)

    A Set of Goofy Observations

I thought I was the only one  I get attacked by people for feeling this way about Wishes...good to know I'm not the only one. The pyro in it is great though, agree there. Nice update :) Glad you enjoyed being back at WDW sirgoofy

Bingo...and it's such a shame too :( Nice to see the attraction getting some love on this thread though...it lured me out of forum semi-retirement haha

It's just the semester of chaos haha. I generally work a minimum of 40 hours a week in my lab (usually more like 50-60) and am taking two classes, one of which is very rigorous and demanding and I'm not used to that pace since I started grad school :) I'm also swimming/jogging daily so the days...

    Research topic?

I did a presentation on how Disney changed the entertainment industry. Between animation, films, theme parks, etc there was a lot to do with it! It was actually overwhelming haha but very interesting to really dive into.

    Question about Disney Imagineering.

Imagineering is extremely competitive. They generally won't look twice at a candidate unless that have built up a good amount of experience. However, if you're a student you can look into the Imaginations contest; the winner gets an internship with Imagineering :) Work hard and don't give up...
