Magic Kingdom felt EMPTY to me today. I came down expecting wall to wall crowds and I never felt crowded at all. The rain (which ranged anywhere from a comfortable drizzle to a downpour) helped clear some people out, but when we left the Magic Kingdom to head back to the Poly for the fireworks...

There are lots of shows at disney that are audience-participation based, but even the people that aren't picked enjoy the rest of the show. I think the issue with this one is that it's SO audience based that if you're a kid in the audience and youre not picked, it loses most of its appeal...

It's an 18 minute/mile pace - you can easily walk that. And even if you can't (sorry about your knee problems!), it's a less strict race than the marathons - the disney sweep carts will whisk you to a point further ahead on the race course if you're falling behind, and let you walk/run again...
