    Halloween Merchandise Pics

Pumpkin, bat and ghost (the Mickey Votive 3-pack are the same). I bought the shirt as well. It is a 'girl cut' shirt--something I didn't keep in mind when purchasing. When I wear it, it may be 'scarier' than planned! :zipit:

Most Suprisingly Good Item You Ever Had at Disney

The pot roast at Cap'n Jacks in DTD. No, I am not opposed to pot roast, but I was surprised to find it on the menu of a seafood restaurant. Our waitress recommended it and boy, was she correct! Yum-may!:slurp:

Question about park opening on the days of MK Christmas parade taping

I don't know the answers to those, but I will tell you that they remove some of the holiday decorations to accommodate the taping of the parade. We were at MK the Monday after the taping and were 'disappointed' by the lack of holiday decor, not knowing that some was removed to accommodate the...

    I Won More Ears!

I bought my postcards at the post office--then the postage is already on them! :D

    Stay at the Contemporary?

We were there in Dec. (same time as Sweetpee_1993) and loved it. We, fortunately, did not have any of the same issues that her family did. Our only complaint was that the room was cleaned so late in the day that taking DD2.5 (at the time) back to the hotel for a nap was out of the question if...

    Unusual Pin Request

I bought a few from www.mousepinsonline.com for my nephews for easter. They were MORE than reasonable!

    Kids ID wristband

You are MORE than welcome! The peace of mind alone is worth the cost, trust me! Enjoy your trip!:king:

    Kids ID wristband

We used this, only we found it on Ebay. DD3 wore it on her ankle vs. her wrist. It was REALLY secure and I liked that I could change the info using different cards inside (in case she is with grandparents, cell # changes, etc.) I have seen some that are the rubber bracelets (like the...

What Disney plush toys or dolls do you own?

I remember seeing a plush Jiminy Cricket (in '82-ish) and thinking how amazingly detailed it was for a stuffed animal. Didn't get it, but it obviously made an impression. DD3 currently has the small Mickey and Minnie plush from our trip in Dec. (See my avatar!) She has Princess Aurora and...

Taking a toddler to the Magic Kingdom

Sorry this is so long, but... We took our DD in Dec. when she was 2.5 (she'll be 3 this month) and she LOVED it! Seeing the characters (who are very real to her anyway) was awesome. (Of course, she now wants to meet EVERY character that she sees on TV or in books!) We started with...

Does anyone else just not have any idea when they are going next?

Well, we 'might' be making a trip to Orlando this year...or not. DH has a business conference the second week in September and DD3 and I would like to go down with him. The two of us could hang out at the parks while he does his 'work' thing. We wouldn't be staying on-site but the hotel...

    Actual quote from Guest...

Yeah--my DH called Pluto "Goofy" while we were at Chef Mickey's in Dec. I quickly corrected him by saying, "He may be silly, but he's no Goofy!" (DH kinda embarasses me when he does that stuff! :lookaroun) He also said something about Donald while we were at the same meal that...

Admit it- You look out for Hidden Mickeys

Heck, I can't even watch "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" with my DD without looking for them. It's gotten to the point where it is not enjoyable--it's stressful! :ROFLOL:

    Trading pins question.

Yep. DD2.5 wore her pins all week with these. They stick out a bit further than the rubber backs, but they are def. tighter. (I have heard of people losing pins with these too, but who is to say if they were put on properly, etc. I think it would take a lot to have them come off if done...

    Coral Reef

I am definitely NOT a seafood person and I loved it. Our trip in Dec. was our third experience at Coral Reef and quite possibly the best. (We had previously been in '93 and '04, with '04 being very disappointing) The lobster soup was phenomenal and the steak was delicious. DH had the salmon...

    Does anyone recommend PhotoPass?

I took a photo of our photopass number with my personal camera so that I had it available just in case we misplaced it. We never needed it, but it was good to know it was there. A CM from Toontown was standing nearby when we did it and said he had never seen anyone do that before but that he...

    Current State of Contemporary?

It is closing sometime in May. I think around the 10th. We loved the Contemporary when we were there in December! We did not have any issues with cleanliness, etc. The room was great, the service was great and the location could not be better! If you can afford it, I highly recommend it...

    Questions re: Contemproary resort

We just stayed there in December and LOVED it! Of course, we didn't use the pools, although we were amazed that it was probably warm enough to do so. I am pretty sure they have bed rails, but honestly, when it comes to questions about that stuff, you are probably best to call the hotel...

    Steak at The Coral Reef?

I can second this! I had the steak with the lobster bisque appetizer on our trip in December and DH kept trying to get me to go "halvsies" with him! Not that his was bad, but mine was just SO much better! :slurp: (He had the Caeser Salad and the Salmon...) Enjoy!
