Did the club lounge in the Sugar Loaf building survived? Was it eliminated and turned into a normal lobby like they other Grand Floridian buildings? Does anyone know or have pictures?

Rehab work has started on the Sugar Loaf building. Does anyone know if they plan to return club level to this building?

The Enchanted Rose is completely out of place and poorly executed. If Bob follows the same approach for the lobby watch out. The real refresh needs to happen at the top of Disney's management team.

Why have they not opened 1900 park fare? Sounds like a good time to do so with this restaurant going down for awhile. I 100% agree that the Enchanted Rose is an out of place disappointment. But then again, so is Bob Chapek.

Noticed that Sugar Loaf club rooms have been removed from the Disney reservation system. Only the suits in the Sugar Loaf are displayed. Anyone have any ideas of whats going on?

When booking club level, you will generally receive the category you book. Sugar Loaf club in the Sugar Loaf Key, or the Royal Palm Club in the Main building. From past experience, when inside a non-club level building such as Boca Chica, Sago Key, Counch Key, or Big Pine Key, you have access to...

Any info on the Sugar Loaf club at the Grand. It did not open with the main buildings Royal Palm club. The Sugar Loaf building was open briefly without club level then closed. Guest services will only confirm it is still closed without any reopening date. Any info would be appreciated.

Looks like my local Marriott lobby bar. Standard contemporary based furniture with no personality. I hope disney lowers the price of the Grand to match the Marriott's if this is the generic crap they have planed for the rest of the resort.

Makes the end of the lobby look dark. Does not fit with the theming of the grand at all. The forest room should make who ever thought of it embarrassed. Tacky and with boths like your local Applebees. I especially like the basic door with a exit sign straight out of your local office building...

Any additional info as to the extent of the rehab? Is it just fixing cracks as stated above or are they doing anything more substantial?

Any additional word on what they are doing? Are they enlarging it? Just there at the end of August and it seamed as crowded as the wave pool at typhoon lagoon

I have stayed at almost all but the contemporary. Not my personal taste.

I booked an epcot fireworks room. We arrived late and were put on the 17th floor with a better view of dhs fireworks. If you are looking at the resort from the ground our room was towrds the top left of the big black square.
