    Mummy vs. E.E.

I agree, it's silly to debate until the ride is experianced by riders. I am a huge fan of the Mummy but it's not perfect, and EE probably won't be either, but I do beleive EE will be a great ride. Whether it will beat Mummy or not remains to be seen.

    Question about Universal AP Tickets

It's a shame how bad Disney does their annual passes, it's also true you really get none if any discounts. Universal does a much better job with annual passes, but it's funny because at Disneyland (California) thier annual passes are pictures, and professional. Disney could learn a lot...

    Question about Universal AP Tickets

Sorry, I stand corrected, and you are absolutley right, I was only thinking about IOA when I wrote that, bad me! At Disney offices are consistently located on the same side to avoid such confusion.

    Question about Universal AP Tickets

your "paper thingy" is either a voucher for the pass, or the ticket to get you into the park for one day. Once you are in the park, you'll go to the annual processing center, cocated to the left as soon as you enter the park, either park. I find the passes at Universal to be much moore...

Anyone Know Where to Order the Universal Vacation Planning Video/DVD?

Exactly right Lynx, but yet I would not say I agree with their decesion, although each and every ride is available online, it's amazing how many complaints we get that a video is not available, it's also ironnic to see such a video available in a shop, but not in marketing. I don't think they...

    Mickey's Jammin Jingle Parade

Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade is my favorite of the WDW parades, and I just loved Jingle Jungle Parade. All the floats were updated, and my favorite is the snow from Donald's boat. Did MGM update their parade, or is this just an Animal Kingdom thing?

    Disney MGM backlot tour question

My question is still, does anybody know where this was shot in Califiornia? I find it hysterical to find a studio that claims they have the facade for a TV show, but most the tram drivers don't even know that the show actually premiered before the Disney MGM park even opened. I'm still...

    Disney MGM backlot tour question

I've heard similar stories, but am always amazed that no tour guies on the backlot tour actually know. Does anybody know where this Hollywood facasde exists, and why did Disney make it such a big deal to open Residential Street, with a replacement facade of what actually opened the show...

    Disney MGM backlot tour question

Here's a question about Residntail Street. Disney MGM opened in 1989, but the Golden Girls TV show premiered a few years before that, so how is the facade on Residential Street authentic, if the park didn't open until 1989, but the show premiered before that? In other words, how did the...

    Pochahontis show at Disney MGM?

I have a question about the shows at Disney MGM. As I understand it, Beauty and the Beast premiered in the stage that recently retired the Huncback show until it moved to Sunset Blvd. Did a Pochahontis show ever play there? If so does anybody know the date span of when Beauty closed down...

    MKT'S Mission: Space Trip Report

Great report Rob, I can't really think of a thing to add, except when this thing opens, watch out. Test Track is gonna have some heavy competition. I've only ridden twice, and never twice in one day yet, once last night and once tonight. Motion sickness is never a problem for me, but the...

    California Screamin'

Well Disneynutcase, it's fine that we disagree. I'll agree there is a big difference between show, and themed. Rock N Roller Coaster has a show, because there is somewhat of a story to it. The preshow sets it up mostly though, the actual ride is not much of a show, but I'll still give it...

    California Screamin'

No, it's not an outdoor coaster themed to look like an outdoor coaster, it's a steel coaster themed to look like a wooden coaster. Matterhorn Mountain, the only coaster made by Walt himself, only had a mountain surrounding it. It was not until 1978, and years after Walt's time that the snowman...

    California Screamin'

California Screamin, is one of the highlights of DCA, and certainly the highlight of Paradise Pier. To put it simplistic, yes, it's nothing but a coaster. Such as Space Mountain, Big Thunder, Matterhorn, and Rock N Roller Copaster are nothing but coasters. The show around a ride does not...

    1-day 2-park pass?

A one day park hopper was offered for a very limited time at the DLR, but it is no longer available. 2 day park hoppers are still offered at some of the non Disney nearby hotels.
