March 29th WDW news ubdate (M:S info as well)

Thanks for the update. I'm not counting on June (when we'll be there) for Mission: Space. I hope the M:S opening results in a significant attendance increase at Epcot. That would encourage Disney to get started on their other "Gemini" projects. I'm sure they'll be watching with interest.

Walt Disney World expansion in 2006/2007 ?

Shoot you!!? Are you kidding? This is the best rumor we've had around here for a while. It's been just "hours cut back" and "hours extended." And then "hours cut back" again.

    Anybody understand women?

Remember, you don't NEED a "girlfriend." Anyone who says otherwise is blind. Dating is largely a farce -- an unproductive social game that doesn't really benefit anyone. I bet the majority of "dating" relationships are full of some deception. Blatant NEEDINESS will chase anyone away --...

    DVC Question

Do a search for other forum threads on this topic. It has been covered extensively with many opinions pro and con. I bought resale points through The Timeshare Store. I spent $62 per point when the going rate was $80. They were very attentive, answered all my questions without getting...

old key west or beach club villas

One other thing, If you rent points as mentioned above, you will be accessing a different virtual pools of condos. A number are assigned for DVC members (points) and some for cash-paying customers. So it's possible to have openings for condo rental (cash) and not available for points, and...

old key west or beach club villas

Main advantage of OKW is MUCH bigger condos and you park right by your door. It's off the beaten path so it feels less crowded. BCV and BWV are more in the middle of the action. More glamorous pools and walk-to-Epcot convenience. The Boardwalk has good restaurants and entertainment (but...

    Crying at Disney!

I get choked up at times when I'm there because of so many memories of being there with my family and now both my parents have passed away. It seems Disney will always be bittersweet for me from now on.

    Song of the South?

Does anyone know where one can get a copy of SotS? Are there any companies outside the US that would ship one? Web sites? Also, I've been looking for the much touted Millenium Celebration CD and it seems to be sold out everywhere. Anyone know anyplace that still has it?

    Keeping the Magic Alive

The "magic" exists even when you're not at Disney World. It's a belief that the human imagination can rise above circumstances to see the beauty and joy in life. It's a celebration of that imagination and the hope that it will go on. It's the enjoyment of sharing those hopes and dreams and...
