    Mobile Ordering?

Excellent. That’s exactly what I was hoping to hear.

    Mobile Ordering?

Haha, I keep hearing that. We’ll be there the last week of August and start of September. As long as I don’t have to plan everything in advance I’ll be happy. I don’t mind making table service reservations, and I can kinda get behind Genie+ even though I really don’t like that or the previous...

    Mobile Ordering?

Ah, thank you. We will be there during what is supposed to be a quieter time so hopefully we won’t have an issue with being able to grab food when we want it rather than having or order in advance.

    Mobile Ordering?

Sorry if this is a very basic question but I’m seeing mixed information. We’re heading to WDW later this year for the first time since 2017. I know that when the parks reopened after the pandemic, mobile ordering for quick service was pretty much required. Is this still the case? I’m quite...

    AKL for adults only trip?

It's a very good place for an adults only trip. I had a split stay between ALK and WL for my honeymoon a few years ago and whilst both were amazing, ALK just feels more special to me.

    Buying gift cards in WDW?

Thank you! I thought this was the case but couldn’t remember for sure. Thanks for confirming :)

    Buying gift cards in WDW?

Next week I'll be going back to WDW after almost 10 years! I'm going as part of a big family group and I'd like to buy some gift cards to give to my nieces / nephews etc which they can spend whilst they're there. Any idea where I can buy the gift cards from within WDW? I assume they're sold in...

    It's been almost 10 years...

Once upon a time I was fairly active on these forums, but it's been 10 years since my last WDW trip so I haven't really been following anything other than the big changes (FL expansion, Pandora, Disney Springs, Rivers of Light etc) I've been fortunate enough to visit DLP, TDL and DL in the...

    April at AKL

I visited 14th - 26th April (I think) and stayed at AKL a few years ago. I was pretty worried about the crowds for the same reason but I was pleasantly surprised. I believe this was just after Easter so we missed the worst of it though. AKL was quiet (and amazing!) and never had trouble getting...

'Once Upon A Time' projection show to replace Celebrate the Magic

I saw the TDL version a couple of weeks ago whilst over there and I was blown away. Admittedly I've not actually seen any of the other projection shows around the world as they weren't running / I was in other parks but I'm very happy to see this coming to WDW in time for my visit next year...

    Animal Kingdom

In that time you'll probably be able to see most of the main attractions, however I always try to spend as much time there as possible. Animal Kingdom is an amazing park and I love being there (more so than pretty much every other Disney park, with perhaps the exception of Disney Seas).

Flying in to Sanford, driving, have questions

It's been about 8 or 9 years since I made that journey, and even then I did it on a coach. Aside from driving near a couple of lakes with alligators to see (a novelty for me coming from the UK), I seem to remember the journey being a little dull. Of course, it's only about an hour or so and...

    Airport help

I've flown into both and I believe the Sanford immigration was quicker, but the travel time from the airport to the resorts eliminated any advantage for me. Basically, I'd pretty much always fly into Orlando Int unless it's much cheaper or there are no other alternatives.

    Honeymoon Registry/Gift Card Question

Sounds like this has changed quite a bit since my experience (about 8 years ago). Then, when you registered for the honeymoon registry you essentially chose a list of experiences / meals / activities etc that people could buy / donate towards, and all the cash went straight onto a gift card...

    January Help!

I've been there in early - mid January and found it really nice. It was still pretty warm to me (coming from the UK), although riding the rapids at Islands of Adventure wasn't the best idea! I can't say I even noticed the reduced park hours being a problem simply because the parks just weren't...

    Spending money

Sorry - I really can't remember the price. I don't remember it being hugely expensive, but it is a big painting with a fairly heavy frame. I do remember it took about a week to get to us though. It is a great reminder of our honeymoon though so I highly recommend getting something from the Art...

    Spending money

My wife and I tend not to buy merchandise, so all our money goes on food / drinks / activities / visiting places outside of WDW. However, on our honeymoon we did pick up a few more extravagant things. Most of these were small enough to just put in the suitcase, but we also bought some paintings...

    Disney-moon help

Yes I've been, but not for almost 10 years now! Might go again next year though as we'll be taking a trip with the whole family. I've also been to around 4 Cirque shows in Las Vegas and I'd say La Nouba (the one in WDW) is among the best. It's full of energy and very entertaining. We got lucky...

How long of a day is it?

If you're only going to be in the parks for 2 days then I would make the effort to stay out for the shows. If you get tired you can always just find a place to sit and relax for a bit. Make sure you're within Epcot for the show, as its much more than fireworks and you'll want a clear view over...

    Disney-moon help

My order of preference would be PO Riverside, then Pop Century, then offsite. Personally I'd say the cost of the upgrade to PO over the other options is well worth it and would be great for a honeymoon. In terms of things to do: book some restaurants you'd like to eat at and look at some...
