FYI, I have heard from a couple of sources that Disney has done away with the 6.5K option for the 2008 ToT race. Easier and more money withy just the 13K?

I was about to post this as well since I just received it. That's exactly what I figure. They won't care as they get their 18% no matter what. I always beleived tipping was tipping and not a service charge or VAT(Vatue added tax)!

Don't forget to bring a camera. If you visit my website, you can see I took 300 pics between the 1/2 and full marathon in Jan when did the Goofy! It should be pretty neat as they usually have characters on the course. CM's their to take your pic with the characters.

I just received this from Disney last week. The course map will be posted in September. We have been working through some road construction issues that caused a course modification.

Disney doesn't care as long as you meet the cut times. I walk all my races including the Goofy since blowing out both Achilles and having surgery on both in 2003:(

Anyone can buy the tickets online now or at the expo. It is meant more for friends and family but is open to anyone with $25.

Besides the $5 you save the Active.com fees($4) you pay for doing it online. I usually get a copy of the DVC app early and post it on my website. The difference is worth a cold pitcher of adult beverage after the race for DW and myself:)

As mentioned, you can run directly from CBR to BW via paved walking paths. Once at BW you can run around BW and take the path over to MGM. On the way back from MGM you can take the path up over the overpass and drop back down by the Swan/Dolphin. You can reconnect back to the BW loop. You can...

The race goes out to WWS so it is NOT just a lap course. It sounds like a good time. Race, Glow in the Dark shirt, Inaugural ToT medal, party with band for $65. A good deal for Disney:)
