As a long time WDW fan, not sure about how I feel about Skyliner project. I know a lot of smarter, more informed people have worked on this project, but how are they going to handle bad weather? Will it keep running during lightening storms, high winds, seems like a lot of down time in its future.

The World of Disney store is normally our first and last stop on property as well as the Christmas shop. Has become sort of a family tradition for us. As mentioned before, early and afternoon visits are very easy. Late evening and raining days are very busy. But definitely a must do.

Like others have said... pick up ponchos before you get to WDW. We have been the past six summers and it has rained some on every trip. We have had trips were it rained 14 out of 17 days or only 3 out of 21...but we have the same amount fun!!!! I would even say the younger boys 6 and 8 have...

Another from Ohio.... We had debated getting AP in pass also. But we try to get 2 summer vacations out of 1 year’s APs. Take a July trip year #1 and a June trip year #2 before it expires. We average 25 to 30 days per AP. Works out real well like $18 per visit.

Caribbean Beach Resort for us.... love the theming over PORS wooded feel. But they are very nice… if you like the Island feel go CBR, if woods are your thing then go PORS.

We just got back (July 7) from a 22-night stay.... Caribbean Beach -10 day, Contemporary (mk view) - 5 day and POP 7 day I am ready to go back today! I think may family will need a little longer to recover :lol:
